2026-10-18 09:30:01

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is an executive plug-in hybrid sedan under the Lynk & Co marque, built on the CMA Evo executive vehicle platform co-developed by Geely and Volvo. Officially launched in September 2025, the model serves as the plug-in hybrid sibling to the Lynk & Co Z10, standing as a strategic offering in the brand's push into the premium electrified hybrid market. As of June 2026, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P line-up comprises variants with 120 km and 240 km pure electric ranges, with eAWD smart electric all-wheel drive and LiDAR fitted as standard across the range. The 2026 240 AWD Max H5 variant is priced officially at RM179,800, with a limited-time promotional price of RM169,800; the 2025 120 AWD Ultra (H5) and 240 AWD Ultra (H5) carry limited-time tags of RM165,800 and RM179,800, respectively. Key rivals include executive PHEV sedans such as the BYD Han L DM and Chery Fengyun A9L.

Design Language

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P adopts the brand's latest The Next Day design philosophy. The front fascia features a closed-off grille flanked by split headlamp clusters, where signature "H"-shaped daytime running lights seamlessly integrate with a full-width light bar. In profile, a sleek fastback silhouette is complemented by frameless doors and flush door handles, further optimizing aerodynamic efficiency. The rear sports a full-width LED taillight bar and an active deployable rear spoiler that automatically extends at speeds above 70 km/h. In terms of dimensions, the sedan measures 5,050 mm long, 1,966 mm wide, and 1,487 mm tall, with a generous 3,005 mm wheelbase. Six exterior paint finishes are on offer: Flowing Gold, Sky Cloud Beige, Glaze Purple, Dawn White, Polar Night Black, and Fluid Grey. Inside, the cabin adopts a minimalist layout, with extensive soft-touch leather and suede upholstery covering the dashboard and centre console. Four interior colourways are available: Moon Shadow Black, Sunset Orange, Sunlight Beige, and Obsidian Gold Black.

Powertrain & Performance

Under the skin, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P runs on the EM-P® intelligent electric hybrid system, pairing a 1.5T Evo hybrid-dedicated engine (boasting 47.26% thermal efficiency) with a P1+P3+P4 tri-motor setup and a 3-speed DHT Evo dedicated hybrid transmission. The 1.5-litre turbocharged mill outputs 120 kW and 255 Nm of torque, while the electric motors generate a combined 270 kW, delivering a total system output of 390 kW (around 530 hp) and 755 Nm of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 210 km/h. The standard eAWD smart electric all-wheel-drive system delivers rapid torque distribution with a response time of just 10 ms. Juice comes from either an 18.4 kWh or 38.2 kWh Aegis Golden Brick super hybrid battery pack, providing CLTC-rated pure EV ranges of 120 km and 240 km, respectively, with a total CLTC cruising range of up to 1,400 km. When running on low charge, fuel consumption drops to an impressive 4.2 L/100 km (CLTC). DC fast charging takes as little as 14.4 minutes to top up from 30% to 80% SoC.

Chassis & Handling

Chassis hardware consists of an all-aluminium double-wishbone front suspension and an enhanced five-link independent rear setup. A CDC hydraulic continuously variable damping suspension system comes standard across all variants. The chassis tune strikes a sweet spot between suppleness and composure, effectively soaking up road imperfections while keeping body roll well in check over undulating tarmac. It clocked a moose test speed of 83.2 km/h and achieves a 100–0 km/h braking distance of 35.5 metres, alongside a tight turning radius of 5.7 metres.

Cabin & Equipment

Inside, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is equipped with a 12.3-inch (or 12.7-inch) full digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch floating central infotainment touchscreen, and a massive 25.6-inch AR-HUD head-up display. The infotainment operates on the LYNK Flyme Auto 2 intelligent cockpit system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset. It supports four-zone voice command, continuous dialogue, contextual recognition, and wake-up-free interactions, with seamless compatibility for HUAWEI HiCar, Apple CarPlay, and CarLink. Audiophiles are treated to a premium 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system delivering 1,600 W, complete with motorized elevating air-vent speakers. Seating appointments include Nappa leather upholstery (higher specs) and zero-gravity cloud-cushion seats for all four main positions, offering power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Other amenities comprise 50 W wireless smartphone charging, 256-colour ambient lighting, a 5.7-litre hot/cold on-board fridge, and foldable rear tray tables. While the official standard boot volume has not been specified, its executive sedan footprint offers ample luggage room for family getaways.

Safety & Driver Assistance

On the passive safety front, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P utilizes the CMA Evo platform's global five-star safety cage architecture, incorporating 80.5% high-strength steel and aluminium, with the A-pillars reinforced by 2,000 MPa submarine-grade 4-layer hot-formed steel. The cabin is certified for "zero-formaldehyde" eco-friendly materials throughout. Active safety is bolstered by standard LiDAR across the entire range. Autonomous driving suites are split into Qianli Haohan H5 and H7 systems: H5 is driven by an NVIDIA Orin-Y chip (200 TOPS) linked to 1 LiDAR, 11 cameras, 3 millimetre-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, while the higher-end H7 gets an NVIDIA Thor processor (700 TOPS). Features include Highway NOA, Urban NOA, Mapless Navigation On Autopilot (NOA), Mapless Door-to-Door (D2D) navigation assist, APA automated parking, FTP fingertip parking, and RAPA remote automated parking. For battery safety, the Aegis Golden Brick super hybrid battery cleared the industry's first live-circuit six-stage continuous extreme test series and multi-point thermal runaway safety trials, meeting the latest stringent national standards well ahead of time.

Market Performance & Verdict

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P has made an immediate market impact since its September 2025 debut. Sales figures saw 6,232 units delivered in November 2025—ranking first across the Lynk & Co line-up—followed by 5,008 units in December 2025, 3,482 units in January 2026, and 2,181 units in February 2026. Cumulative deliveries surpassed 20,000 units within three months, topping its segment in January 2026 with a weighted average transaction price above RM180,000. The 2026 240 AWD Max H5 has further expanded the range with an attractive promotional price of RM169,800. Key selling points include its generous executive-class cabin space courtesy of a 5-metre length and 3-metre wheelbase, class-above standard equipment like eAWD electric all-wheel drive and LiDAR, a well-judged balance of 5.1-second century sprint performance against 4.2 L/100 km fuel efficiency, and cutting-edge digital connectivity courtesy of Flyme Auto 2 and NVIDIA Thor processing power. On the flip side, the rakish fastback profile compromises boot aperture height (standing at only 480 mm), DC fast charging speeds are relatively modest next to select competitors (taking roughly 35 minutes for 10% to 80%), and the rear middle passenger's foot space is slightly compromised by the floor hump. All told, positioned as a "new benchmark in premium electrified hybrids", the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P delivers a compelling, competitive overall package in the RM160,000 to RM200,000 executive PHEV sedan segment.
