[CNMO Tech News] On June 9, Changan Automobile announced that 20,000 complete vehicles have rolled off the line at the Rayong Factory.

According to CNMO Tech, the Rayong Factory is Changan Automobile's first overseas new energy complete vehicle base, marking a decisive step taken by Changan Automobile in overseas new energy complete vehicle manufacturing. Construction of the Rayong Factory began in November 2023, sited in the core area of Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor, integrating intelligent workshops such as welding, painting, final assembly, engine, and battery.

This May, Changan Automobile's overseas deliveries reached 70,700 units, up 38% year-on-year; at the same time, new energy vehicle deliveries reached 92,400 units, up 5.8% year-on-year. This data profoundly reflects that the structural dividends under Changan Automobile's "Shangri-La" New Energy Plan, "Beidou Tianshu" Intelligent Plan, and "Haina Baichuan" Globalization Strategy have entered an accelerated realization period.

Since the "Haina Baichuan" plan was launched, Changan Automobile has built 22 overseas manufacturing bases including the Rayong Factory in Thailand. Products are sold in 118 countries and regions, with 1,124 overseas sales outlets, and proposed a goal of achieving 1.5 million overseas sales by 2030. In 2026, Changan further released the "Haina Baichuan" Plan 2.0, advancing globalization from product exports to localized operations and systematic construction.

It is worth mentioning that in May, Changan Automobile officially announced becoming the Portugal National Football Team Global Official Partner. This is a deep brand breakthrough in mainstream European consumer markets following its factory establishment and production in Southeast Asia and Latin American markets.
