[CNMO Tech News] On June 9, SAIC Motor official revealed that IM Motors channel network construction is accelerating. 18 new stores were opened nationwide in May, with plans to open 10 more in June.
According to CNMO Tech, in May 2026, IM Motors delivered 10,023 new vehicles. From January to May, IM Motors cumulative sales surged 115% year-on-year. In terms of models, IM LS8 is currently in a hot delivery phase, and the IM LS6 SAIC 100 Million Unit Limited Edition continues to sell well, with market recognition of the product matrix continually rising.
In sync with sales growth is the accelerated implementation of IM Motors' offline channel network. IM Motors has already opened 18 new stores in May; it plans to open another 10 stores in June.
Regarding hardware parameters, the IM LS8 body length, width, and height are 5085mm, 2000mm, 1807mm, wheelbase 3060mm, offering 5-seat and 6-seat layouts. The power system is equipped with a 1.5T "Star" Super Extended Range System, the 4WD version achieves 0-100 km/h acceleration in the 4-second range, CLTC pure electric range up to 430 km, combined range reaches 1605 km; supports 800V super fast charging, charging from 30%-80% takes only 12 minutes.
It is worth mentioning that in May this year, SAIC Motor welcomed the delivery to the global 100 millionth user, becoming the first automotive group in Chinese history to exceed 100 million in cumulative production and sales.
