In August 2026, the Great Wall Ora 5 family adds two heavyweight members—the Ora 5 GT and Ora 5 Sport version are about to officially launch.

The two new vehicles are built on the Guiyuan platform, continuing the "Natural Sports Aesthetics" design concept, offering pure electric, hybrid, and fuel power choices, balancing appearance, driving control, intelligence, and global quality, targeting young consumers pursuing sports texture, further perfecting Ora's global product matrix.

The two models have different positioning focuses. The Ora 5 Sport version targets urban fashion, integrating sports aesthetics into daily commuting; the Ora 5 GT focuses on extreme handling performance, targeting young users who dare to be pioneers and refuse compromise. In terms of appearance, the GT is equipped with a full set of aerodynamic GT kits, paired with 19-inch tornado wheels, providing considerable downforce at high speeds; the Sport version is equipped with the Peregrine-inspired sports kit, paired with 18-inch wind blade wheels, offering multiple color-matching body color schemes. Both vehicles use high-quality water-based car paint jointly developed by BASF and Nippon Paint, featuring scratch self-repair and anti-aging capabilities. With rich color choices, they fully meet personalized needs.

In terms of driving control, both cars implement the "Kart with a Sofa" development concept. The Ora 5 GT has chassis tuning led by a former McLaren GT Chief Engineer, boasting a 490mm ultra-low center of gravity, paired with high-strength anti-roll bars and 1.4-1.5Hz sports suspension, balancing sports handling with riding comfort. The Ora 5 Sport version chassis hardware is equally outstanding, equipped with the "Comfort Constellation Seat" certified as Class A by CATARC, reducing fatigue during long-term driving. In terms of power, the pure electric version is equipped with Fengchao 14-in-1 efficient e-drive and Gen-2 Short Knife battery; the hybrid version is equipped with the Great Wall 5th Gen Hi2 Hybrid system, achieving fast, smooth, quiet, and fuel-efficient performance; the fuel version features the 1.5T+7DCT golden power combination verified by the million-market, allowing users to choose from three power schemes according to needs.

In terms of intelligent configuration, both cars are equipped with the Coffee Pilot 3 Gen-3 Intelligent Driving Platform and Coffee OS3 Smart Cockpit. With support from 27 sensors, it achieves city NOA without HD maps, highway NOA, and full-link assistance from parking spot to parking spot. Parking functions like memory parking and self-select parking cover 200+ scenarios. A 15.6-inch 2.5K floating center console screen, paired with a 4nm high-computing chip and Coffee GPT voice large model support. Voice interaction responds quickly, featuring multiple scenario modes, balancing entertainment and practicality.

In terms of safety, the vehicle's high-strength steel accounts for 74.39%, equipped with 6 airbags. The hybrid and fuel versions feature 19 active safety functions. Relying on Ora 5's outstanding performance in Thailand, Brazil, and European markets, the two new models will continue to help Ora expand its global footprint, bringing Chinese automotive products combining sports performance and practical value to young users at home and abroad.
