Currently, the Chery Tiggo 8 series on sale consists of three versions: Tiggo 8 Pro, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and the newly launched base Tiggo 8. As the plug-in hybrid variant, the power specifications of the Tiggo 8 PHEV have not yet been disclosed, but it retains the Pro version's spacious interior. The newly released base Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.6TGDi engine (197PS/290Nm), equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and 6 airbags, features a split taillight design, and rides on 18-inch wheels, with its overall configuration emphasizing practicality. The entire lineup comes with a 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, with the Pro version offering an optional limited-edition Aurora Green exterior paint. Notably, while both the Pro and base versions share the same 4722mm body length and 2710mm wheelbase, the Pro version comes standard with a third-row seat for a 7-seat configuration, whereas the base version's seating arrangement depends on actual sales specifications. All variants are equipped with an ADAS system including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, but the Pro version's 540-degree surround-view system and additional airbags give it superior active safety features.
