It’s been almost 3 years since the current ZCDDS Suzuki Swift debuted, but the hot hatch Swift Sport has yet to debut – rumours are aplenty, but spyshots have yet to surface.

Fret not, as Suzuki is currently this body kit in Japan to appease to those who wants their regular Swift looking a bit more, Sporty.

Called the Suzuki Sport Body Kit, it incorporates a sportier-looking front and rear skirt, as well as side skirt.

According to Suzuki, this three-piece set retails for JPY 198,000 (~RM 5k) and takes 2.2 hours to install. Installation fees, at least for Japan, also varies from dealer-to-dealer.

However, if the three-piece bodykit isn’t sufficient, Suzuki is also offering the Suzuki Sport Black Aero Package, which tacks on the aforementioned bodykit, as well as front grille garnish, black finish alloy wheels, air valves, and black wheel centre caps.

The Suzuki Sport Black Aero Package retails for JPY 312,972 (~RM 8k).

Despite the sporty looks, the rest of the Suzuki Swift remain unchanged – power comes from a naturally-aspirated 1.2-litre three-pot petrol engine, which can be mated to an integrated starter generator (ISG) that creates a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system.

Prices in Japan start from JPY 1,727,000 (~RM 44k) for the entry-level XG variant, and tops out at JPY 2,332,000 (~RM 59k) for the top-spec Hybrid MZ 4WD variant.
