Karrus Automotive Group appointed exclusive Meguiar's distributor for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei

Karrus Automotive Group (KAG) has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Meguiar's across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, marking the automotive group's latest expansion beyond vehicle sales and aftersales into the automotive care segment.

Founded in 1901, Meguiar's is among the world's best-known automotive detailing brands, offering a wide range of car care products including shampoos, waxes, ceramic coatings, paint correction compounds, interior cleaners and professional detailing solutions. The company celebrates its 125th anniversary this year and has been part of 3M's Auto Care portfolio since 2008.

Under the agreement, KAG will oversee the distribution, marketing and development of Meguiar's consumer, enthusiast and professional product range across the three countries. The group also plans to expand retail availability, strengthen partnerships with detailing businesses, introduce certified technical training programmes and grow community engagement through enthusiast events and collaborations.

He added that KAG aims to make the brand more accessible to everyday vehicle owners, enthusiasts and professional detailers, while expanding its presence through a wider retail and distribution network, strategic partnerships and professional training initiatives.

KAG says several initiatives will be rolled out ahead of Meguiar's official regional launch at LuftWasser 2026 in Malaysia. These include expanding its authorised dealer network, developing dedicated Meguiar's retail concepts, launching certified detailing programmes and carrying out regional marketing campaigns.

Established in 2018, Karrus Automotive Group currently operates across vehicle retail, aftersales and specialist vehicle imports. Its portfolio includes Lotus, Zeekr, Hyundai, Subaru, GWM and iCAUR, while its Karrus Private Garage division focuses on pre-owned and specialist vehicles. The addition of Meguiar's further broadens the group's automotive ecosystem beyond vehicle ownership into premium car care products and services.
