New 2027 Toyota Innova Zenix facelift spyshots reveal new infotainment screen, possibly redesigned interior - set for late-year debut?

Fresh spy shots of the upcoming 2027 Toyota Innova Cross facelift have surfaced online, this time offering a clearer look at the SUV-MPV's revised interior ahead of its expected debut next year.

The biggest change appears to be a larger freestanding infotainment touchscreen, replacing the current unit with what is expected to be Toyota's latest multimedia system. The centre air-conditioning vents have also been repositioned lower on the dashboard to accommodate the new display, while the digital instrument cluster is retained.

Although the cabin changes are relatively modest, they're in line with what buyers typically expect from a mid-life facelift, focusing on improved technology rather than a complete redesign.

Outside, the facelifted Innova Cross is expected to receive a more substantial update. Previous spy shots suggest the front end could adopt styling cues from the latest Toyota Hilux, featuring a squarer grille, revised bumper and new headlamp design for a tougher SUV-like appearance.

Mechanically, no major changes are expected at this stage. The facelift is likely to retain its existing petrol and hybrid powertrain options, with the focus instead being on updated styling, technology and equipment.

In Malaysia, the Innova Cross is currently offered with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 2.0-litre hybrid, making it one of the few electrified MPVs in its segment. Whether UMW Toyota Motor will introduce the facelifted model shortly after its debut remains to be seen.
