Mercedes-AMG has opened orders in Germany for the Final Edition of the A45S 4MATIC+, giving the W177-generation hot hatch a farewell-style package of cosmetic and equipment upgrades. The special model is now available to order and adds edition-specific details inside and out.
The Final Edition is positioned as a more heavily specified version of the A45S 4MATIC+, with pricing tied to the selected equipment. Mercedes-AMG says the additional equipment package costs from €5,105.00 (~RM 26k) excluding VAT, or €6,074.95 (~RM 31k) including VAT.
For buyers who add the AMG Aerodynamics Package and the large “45S” door graphics, the surcharge rises to €8,480.00 (~RM 44k) excluding VAT, or €10,091.20 (~RM 52k) including VAT. The package is offered as part of the Final Edition’s more aggressive visual theme.

Exterior colour choices are limited to MANUFAKTUR mountain grey magno or jet black non-metallic. Both versions get Dark Chrome door handles as part of the special model treatment.
Mercedes-AMG also fits matte-black 19-inch forged wheels in a cross-spoke design, along with edition-specific wheel hub covers carrying yellow AMG logos. The brake callipers are finished in gloss black with white AMG lettering, while the fuel filler cap is trimmed in silver chrome with black detailing.

Optional graphics add another layer of distinction. The front doors can be fitted with large “45S” lettering in yellow and black with a white outline, while the mirror caps get an AMG-specific black diamond pattern with yellow edging. Additional yellow accents are used throughout the exterior.
The Final Edition includes the AMG Night Package as standard, bringing high-gloss black exterior elements such as the mirror housings and trim strips. The dark chrome tailpipe trims are designed to blend with those darker accents. AMG Night Package II is also included, adding dark chrome details such as grille louvres and model badges.
Mercedes-AMG is also offering the AMG Aerodynamics Package for the Final Edition. Developed in the wind tunnel, it adds a front apron with a larger front splitter and flics, a roof spoiler, side airflow separation edges and a diffuser blade, all finished in high-gloss black to sharpen the car’s track-oriented appearance.
Inside, the special model carries over the yellow-accent theme. The AMG Performance seats are trimmed in black ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre, with yellow contrast stitching on the seats and door panels and embroidered “45S” emblems in the front head restraints.

Other interior details include a “45S Final Edition” badge on the centre console, an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfibre with yellow stitching, aluminium trim with AMG pattern graphics, illuminated AMG door sill panels and AMG floor mats with “45 S” lettering. The cabin is intended to make the edition’s special status visible without changing the underlying performance hardware.
Mechanically, the A45S 4MATIC+ remains unchanged. It uses AMG’s 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder M139 engine producing 310 kW (421 PS) and 500 Nm, paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT-8G eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive (AWD) with AMG Torque Control.
Mercedes-AMG says the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 270 km/h. The brand also continues to describe the M139 as the world’s most powerful series-production four-cylinder turbo engine to date.
Running figures quoted for the A45S 4MATIC+ are 9.2–9.0 l/100 km for combined fuel consumption and 209–205 g/km of CO₂ emissions. Those figures place the car in CO₂ class G2 under the WLTP test cycle.
In Malaysia, the regular Mercedes-AMG A45S 4MATIC+ goes for RM 530,888.
