GWM Malaysia today officially handed over the first locally assembled GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV to national icon Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, marking a pivotal milestone in the brand’s New Energy journey in Malaysia.

The handover ceremony took place at GWM USJ, following the recent launch at MITEC in January. At the official debut, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza was also introduced as the official WEY G9 brand ambassador, reflecting the model’s positioning as a refined and intelligent MPV designed to support both modern family life and professional commitments.
