Leapmotor C10 and B10 now CKD locally assembled in Malaysia, priced from RM 118,800

Stellantis Malaysia has begun local assembly of the Leapmotor C10 and B10 at its Gurun plant in Kedah, with both electric SUVs now available at authorised dealers nationwide.

The milestone forms part of Stellantis’ broader plan to expand localised manufacturing in Malaysia and support the development of the country’s electric vehicle industry.

Stellantis has invested EUR 5.3 million in the project, covering the development of local production capabilities as well as upgrades to the production line and infrastructure at the Gurun facility.

Leapmotor and Stellantis also operate under a unified global compliance framework, ensuring that locally assembled vehicles meet the companies’ manufacturing standards.

Locally assembled Leapmotor C10 gains new colours

The locally assembled Leapmotor C10 is now offered in two new exterior colours: Violet and Lightning White. These join the existing Canopy Grey and Glazed Green options.

Inside, the C10 continues to feature OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified, baby-friendly silicone textile upholstery. The Glazed Green exterior is paired with a Camel Brown interior, while the other exterior colours come with a Black cabin.

Power comes from a 69.9 kWh battery pack paired with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor producing 218 hp and 320 Nm. The C10 has a claimed WLTP range of up to 424 km on a full charge.

Leapmotor B10 offered in single Design variant

Positioned as a global C-segment electric SUV, the Leapmotor B10 is built on the company’s LEAP 3.5 architecture and is offered locally in a single Design variant.

It is equipped with a 67.1 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed WLTP range of up to 434 km.

The B10 is available in four exterior colours: Starry Night Blue, Tundra Grey, Metallic Black and Light White. All exterior colours are paired with a Dark Grey interior featuring OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified upholstery.

Optional physical remote key fob introduced

Leapmotor is also introducing an optional physical remote key fob for both the C10 and B10.

The accessory is available to both newly registered vehicle owners and existing Leapmotor customers nationwide, providing an alternative to the vehicles’ standard keyless and digital access functions.

Leapmotor records more than 100,000 deliveries in August

Leapmotor delivered a record 103,129 vehicles globally in August 2026, surpassing the 100,000-unit mark and recording its fifth consecutive month of all-time delivery records.

August deliveries increased by 80.72% year-on-year, placing Leapmotor among the top four global passenger NEV brands and the top three Chinese brands, according to the company.

For the first eight months of 2026, Leapmotor delivered 560,883 vehicles globally, representing a 70.55% year-on-year increase.

Pricing, warranty and availability

The locally assembled Leapmotor C10 is priced at RM 125,000, while the Leapmotor B10 retails at RM 118,800.

Both models come with an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first. Customers can visit their nearest authorised Leapmotor dealership for more information or to arrange a test drive.
