GIIAS 2026: Leapmotor enters Indonesia with CKD C10 and B10, from RM 102k

Stellantis has officially introduced Leapmotor in Indonesia at GIIAS 2026, using the launch to underline a longer-term regional push that includes local assembly (CKD), a wider retail network and the introduction of the Leapmotor B10 and Leapmotor C10 there.

The debut matters beyond a simple model reveal because all Leapmotor vehicles sold in Indonesia will be locally assembled at PT National Assemblers, according to Stellantis. The company says the move is part of its long-term investment plan in the market and sits alongside its broader Southeast Asian strategy.

Leapmotor arrives in Indonesia alongside Citroën and Jeep under Stellantis’ Brand House retail concept, which brings the three brands into a single dealership ecosystem. Stellantis said it aims to establish 52 Brand House outlets across Indonesia by the end of 2026.

The C10 is the more relevant model for family buyers. Leapmotor describes it as a Global Family SUV with a spacious cabin, premium comfort and a Human-Centric Tech approach aimed at making the driving experience more intuitive.

Stellantis says the Indonesian lineup benefits from its global engineering input, including chassis tuning carried out by its engineering team at the Balocco Proving Ground in Italy. 

Price is another major part of the story. In Indonesia, the Leapmotor B10 is priced at IDR 499 million (~RM 113k), while the C10 starts from IDR 618 million (~RM 140k) on-the-road Jakarta. For the first 500 customers during GIIAS 2026, Leapmotor is offering introductory pricing of IDR 449 million (~RM 102k) for the B10 and IDR 598 million (~RM 135k) for the C10.

Stellantis ASEAN managing director Isaac Yeo said Indonesia is one of the group’s strategic markets in Southeast Asia, while Leapmotor International chief executive Tianshu Xin described the launch as a new chapter in the brand’s global expansion. PT Indomobil National Distributor, Stellantis’ local partner, will handle sales network development, aftersales and ownership experience.

Closer to home, Stellantis recently commenced CKD local assembly work of the Leapmotor C10 at its Gurun facility, with CKD works of the B10 slated to commence soon.
