TQ Wuling Bingo EV available from RM 56,800 with Malaysia Day rebates

TQ Wuling is offering additional rebates of up to RM 6,000 on the Bingo EV as part of its Malaysia Day promotion, bringing the EV hatchback’s starting price down to RM 56,800.

The limited-time promotion is available throughout September and covers both the Pro and Max variants.

In Peninsular Malaysia, the Bingo EV Pro is priced at RM 62,800 before rebates. With a RM 4,000 Malaysia Day rebate and an insurance rebate of up to RM 2,000, the effective price is reduced to RM 56,800.

The Pro variant also comes with a complimentary portable EV charger.

Meanwhile, the Bingo EV Max is priced at RM 67,800 before rebates. It receives a RM 2,000 Malaysia Day rebate and an insurance rebate of up to RM2 ,000, bringing the price down to RM 63,800.

Max buyers will also receive a complimentary 7 kW wallbox charger and portable EV charger.

For East Malaysia, the Bingo EV Pro is priced at RM 65,560 before rebates, or RM 59,560 after the same RM 4,000 Malaysia Day rebate and insurance rebate of up to RM 2,000.

The Bingo EV Max is priced at RM 70,560 before rebates and RM 66,560 after the applicable rebates. East Malaysia prices are on-the-road, excluding insurance.

Up to 410 km of CLTC range

The Bingo EV is available in two variants, with the Pro offering a claimed CLTC range of 333 km and the Max providing up to 410 km.

Both variants are equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. TQ Wuling also says its MAGIC Battery technology has been deployed in more than 3.6 million electric vehicles worldwide.

DC fast charging allows the battery to be replenished from 30% to 80% in less than 35 minutes.

Practical cabin and safety features

The Bingo EV features a Caramel Latte-inspired interior, dual 10.25-inch displays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and between 395 and 1,240 litres of luggage space with the rear seats folded.

Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The vehicle is also equipped with several advanced driver assistance systems, including Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Collision Warning, Door Opening Warning and Low-Speed Pedestrian Warning.

Warranty and booking details

The TQ Wuling Bingo EV comes with an eight-year or 160,000 km drive motor warranty, an eight-year or 120,000 km battery warranty and a five-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first.

Customers can secure the Malaysia Day promotion by placing a booking through the TQ Wuling website with a RM200 booking fee. Test drives can also be arranged at authorised TQ Wuling showrooms nationwide.
