Zeekr 7X rolls off 200,000th unit two years after global debut

Zeekr has reached a new milestone with its 7X electric SUV, as the 200,000th production unit rolled off the line on 8 September.

The milestone vehicle was built this morning at Zeekr's Meishan Intelligent Factory in Ningbo, exactly two years after the Zeekr 7X made its debut in September 2024.

The milestone comes shortly after global orders for the 7X passed 200,000 units on 24 August. The 200,000th order came from a customer in Mexico, with the production vehicle rolling off the line now matching that overseas order.

Strong sales

The 7X is one of Zeekr's main global models, built on the company's SEA architecture.

Since its launch, the SUV has expanded to more than 50 countries and regions, covering Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. Overseas sales now account for 32% of its total deliveries.

The Zeekr 7X has performed strongly in several overseas markets. In the first half of 2026, it ranked No. 1 in the luxury electric SUV segment in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, Mexico and Egypt.

In Mexico, it remained the best-selling luxury electric C-SUV from January to July, while global monthly deliveries topped 10,000 units in both July and August.

Five-star safety ratings

Safety has been another strong point for the 7X, which has received five-star ratings from C-NCAP, Euro NCAP and ANCAP.

The SUV comes with a 900V high-voltage charging platform, and all variants are fitted with an Nvidia Thor-U driver-assistance chip and LiDAR.

In Malaysia, the Zeekr 7X is currently available in three variants:

  • RWD Standard: RM 182,800
  • RWD Long Range: RM 193,800
  • AWD Performance: RM 230,800

2027 Zeekr 7X coming in Q4

Zeekr has also confirmed that the 2027 model year 7X is expected to launch in China in the fourth quarter of this year.

The exterior design will remain largely unchanged, but the new model will introduce a wider choice of exterior and interior colours. A new version equipped with an 85 kWh Golden Brick Battery will also join the range, giving buyers another battery option.
