The new 2026 Proton S70 MC1 has been officially launched in Malaysia, with prices unchanged from before.

All variants come with a special RM5,000 rebate, bringing the starting price down to RM68,800.
Powertrain
The S70 now uses the
1.5L turbo i-GT four-cylinder engine with
181 PS and 290 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DCT.
It does 0–100 km/h in
7.5 seconds and a claimed fuel consumption of
5.7 L/100 km.
