Changan Mazda Debuts at Chongqing Auto Show, 618 Mid-Year Benefits Launch Simultaneously

On June 13, 2026, the Chongqing Auto Show grandly opened. Changan Mazda, with the theme "Still Mazda", showcased classic legendary sports car MX-5, global strategic new energy models MAZDA EZ-6 (hereinafter referred to as EZ-6), MAZDA EZ-60 (hereinafter referred to as EZ-60), and the EZ-60 Mazda Edition launched in April at the N8 Hall booth. It comprehensively displayed the latest results of the enterprise's new energy transformation and simultaneously announced a series of user co-creation activities.

Global Car Strength Endorsement, Setting New Energy Value Benchmark

EZ-6 and EZ-60 were built to global standards from the outset of product development. In terms of design, EZ-6 won the "2026 World Car of the Year Design" award, becoming the first Chinese new energy vehicle to receive this honor. EZ-60 is even the only SUV globally to win 8 world-class design awards simultaneously. In terms of safety, both models are built strictly according to China-Europe dual five-star standards. EZ-6 has obtained 5 authoritative safety certifications including C-NCAP and E-NCAP. EZ-60 battery safety meets new national standards and European standards ahead of schedule. In terms of handling, the EZ-60 successfully won the Champion of the SUV Group in the Circuit Race of the China New Energy Vehicle Rally Championship and the Second Place in the Overall Result of the Rally Race, verifying its ultimate handling capabilities. At the auto show, Changan Mazda owner and champion driver Ji Hao shared his journey driving a stock, unmodified pure electric EZ-60 in the China New Energy Vehicle Rally Championship. During the 6-day, 910-kilometer grueling schedule, facing competition from the vast majority of extended-range and plug-in hybrid vehicles, relying on the EZ-60's ultimate quality stability and "Human-Machine Integration" tuning, it broke through from 100 participating cars across 27 brands, completing the ultimate verification of the EZ-60 stock production car's performance.

Currently, Changan Mazda has successfully obtained whole vehicle certifications for the EU, UK, and Australia three major markets, becoming the first domestic joint venture new energy vehicle enterprise to win these three certifications simultaneously. Solid global quality has won broad recognition in the international market. At the end of May, more than 80 overseas dealers from Europe, Australia, and Thailand specially inspected the Nanjing factory and gave high praise to the production process and quality control system. Currently, overseas sales and pre-sales trends of EZ-6 and EZ-60 continue to be positive. In the domestic market, EZ-60 has been the champion of joint venture new energy medium-sized SUV sales for 7 consecutive months.
