June 12, Beijing Off-road held the launch event for the production of the 150,000th BJ30 Traveller and the Highlight Edition at the BAIC Zhuzhou Super Factory. The all-new BJ30 Traveller Highlight Edition launches Fuel and Hybrid models, with an official guide price ranging from 112,900 to 139,900 Yuan, and a super trade-in price ranging from 82,900 to 109,900 Yuan.

Regarding body dimensions, the BJ30 Traveller Highlight Edition measures 4730/1910/1790 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm, which is relatively long for a compact SUV. The cabin adopts a dual-screen layout with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central control screen. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, integrating Yueyequan App, Huawei HiCar connectivity, and multi-command voice interaction features.

Powertrain options include Fuel and Hybrid routes. The Fuel version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 138 kW and a peak torque of 305 N·m, matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The Hybrid version adopts a "Three-motor, Four-wheel drive, Six-mode" HEV architecture, consisting of a 1.5T HEV dedicated engine with 41% thermal efficiency, front drive motor, and rear drive motor. The four-wheel drive model has a system combined power of 301 kW and combined torque of 685 N·m. The Highlight Edition Hybrid model reinforces the rear axle motor, increasing power from 55 kW to 70 kW, replaced with an AGM battery with a cycle life about 3 times that of a standard battery, and equipped with VGT Variable Geometry Turbocharging technology.

In terms of energy consumption, official data shows the Fuel version's WLTC combined fuel consumption is 8.06 L/100km, and the four-wheel drive Hybrid version is 6.45 L/100km. According to official introduction, automotive bloggers from five countries recorded fuel consumption below 5L per 100km for the vehicle under different road conditions in actual tests in South Africa, Indonesia, UAE, Poland, and Mexico.

Regarding intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with an L2-level assistance driving system, including 5 external cameras, 8 ultrasonic radars, and 2 millimeter-wave radars, supporting Lane Keeping, Active Braking, Transparent Chassis, 540° panoramic imaging, and other functions.

Regarding off-road configuration, the new car continues to use a unibody structure, retaining Electronic Center Lock, Four-wheel Electronic Limited Slip, and ATS All-Terrain Control System, providing Snow, Mud, Sand, and other modes. Maximum wheel-end torque is 5928 N·m, approach angle 25 degrees, departure angle 30 degrees, and ground clearance 215 mm.
