On August 26, at the Yanqi Lake International Convention Center in Beijing, Chery held a press conference to officially launch the global quality pure electric SUV Fengyun T7, introducing three versions: Enjoyment Edition, Comfort Edition, and Intelligence Edition, with an official launch price ranging from 97,900 yuan to 118,900 yuan, and a priority trade-in price from 94,900 yuan to 115,900 yuan.

At the press conference, well-known musician Hank Wu appeared as a surprise guest as a "Happiness Experience Officer", chatting with Chery Automotive Executive Vice President Li Xueyong on the topic of "Steady Happiness", sharing driving experiences and interpreting the steady happiness brought by Fengyun T7. Sometimes, we really dare not save time," Li Xueyong introduced. 1. R&D cannot rush, whole vehicle, three-electric, and intelligent driving must be repeatedly polished and iterated; 2. Validation cannot rush, reliability must be run out through real global scenarios; 81 test vehicles, 21 countries, 1.45 million km extreme durability tests, developed according to 2026 Edition E-NCAP European five-star safety standards, no paper parameters; 3. Global user co-creation cannot rush, visiting users in multiple countries, listening to real vehicle usage demands of different families.

Li Xueyong said, Fengyun T7 is not late, it is just the time a good car should take. A true global car is not built domestically then modified and sold overseas, but developed according to global standards from the first day of the project, verified through overseas markets first, then returned to China for Chinese consumers. The overseas same-source model Lepas L6 has already been launched in Thailand and South Africa, later landing in EU, Indonesia, and Australia/New Zealand markets.

Finally, Li Xueyong promised users two bottom-lines:

1. Battery safety guarantee: If thermal runaway is caused by quality issues with the Chery battery pack itself, we will compensate with a brand-new car of the same model;

2. Intelligent driving guarantee: Falcon 500 assisted driving, within 1 year of purchase, if the accident is caused by system issues, compensation up to 5 million.

"At the same time, providing users with whole vehicle + three-electric system lifetime warranty; 666 yuan optional purchase of lifetime basic maintenance package, reducing family car maintenance pressure.
