Avatr T09 Paris World Premiere Reveals Its Full Strength, What Is Level-Transcending Capability?

On October 11, Auto Business Review learned from the official source that Avatr's new flagship T09 Concept Version made its global debut in Paris, and the interior was also fully revealed to the public for the first time. From October 12 to 18, it will also appear on the Paris Auto Show exhibition stand. The mass-produced version is planned to be officially launched within 2026, with an expected selling price exceeding 500,000 yuan.

For Avatr, the T09 is not just a new car; it also formally divides the brand's product line into two tracks: Avatr 11 and 12 continue with an avant-garde sports style, called "Casual Luxury"; the path opened by T09 follows a bold and steady route, called "Dignified Luxury".

In terms of appearance, the new car's front face features a new flagship design language. The grille is designed as a 3D relief structure, composed of 362 different 3D height Avatr LOGO dot matrix units, creating layers in light and shadow through height differences and chamfers. The crystal diamond array lighting groups on both sides use inner and outer double-layer diamond cutting craftsmanship, giving a jewelry-like texture after lighting up. The 2.1 m² clamshell front hood retains the "island-like rise" shape, carrying a touch of agility within stability.

The car side does not pile up lines; it speaks with sculpted curves. T09 dimensions are 5285/2025/1810mm, wheelbase 3150mm, a large six-seater SUV build, where the aura cannot be hidden.

The waist-curvature surface makes this 5.2-meter-long large car not look bloated, the DtoF sensor island blends into the body, showing no sense of splicing. The D-pillar uses a large-area aluminum trim panel to create a floating roof, while peers mostly use plastic trim panels, this difference can be seen up close. The car tail integrated crystal diamond taillights are also double-layer cut, echoing the front end.

The interior is the focus of this premiere. The most eye-catching in the cabin is the lift-able Vortex Emotional Vortex Interaction Mechanism, 360° seamless two-stage reverse curvature, the upper part is real wood material, the body uses smoky gray semi-transparent plus laser-engraved star point structure. It contains 118 independently controllable RGB-LEDs, capable of linking the whole vehicle's 6 layers of 24-point ambient lights, welcoming, music rhythm, rear vehicle warning can all produce light effects, the silent motor used for lifting has slow start/stop and anti-pinch.

The triple screen is integrated, 10.25-inch instrument panel plus two 17.2-inch 3.4K screens, the screen seamlessly connects with the air conditioning vents on both sides, an under-screen NFC sensor area is reserved below the central console, the phone connects when placed on it. This cabin does not shove all functions into the immediate view, but adopts a quiet and spacious posture, ensuring it can handle family trips or hosting guests gracefully.

In terms of intelligence, the smart driving uses Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, equipped with a four-lidar hardware solution, perception redundancy is much thicker than common single-lidar, dual-lidar schemes. The chassis is Taihang Smart Control, closed dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering are all equipped, also supports crab-walking mode, 5.2-meter body achieves 4-meter-class minimum turning radius, basement U-turns, narrow road encounters are much easier.

In terms of power, a new intelligent super hybrid architecture, 2.0T hybrid engine plus three-motor distributed electric drive composed of four engines, system combined horsepower exceeds one thousand, pure electric, plug-in hybrid, extended range three modes can switch according to scenarios. Battery is 71.24kWh CATL Xiaoyao Super Extended Hybrid Battery, CLTC pure electric range up to over 400km. Daily commute driven as an electric car, long distance doesn't need to find piles all the way, for a large six-seater that needs to pull a family out, this is more substantial than acceleration numbers.
