New 2026 Jaecoo J5 Revised Expected Price – Lowered to RM110,000 Ahead of Launch

Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia has revised the expected price of the upcoming 2026 Jaecoo J5 down to RM110,000, just weeks before its official launch.

The SUV was initially previewed last month with an estimated price of RM120,000.

Alongside the lowered price, a Super Early Bird package worth RM8,888 is being offered for those who book now:

1st-year insurance (worth RM3,000)
Accessories Trio (worth RM2,000) – subwoofer, wireless karaoke mic, multi‑function flashlight
CNY Angpow rebate of RM3,888

At this new price point, the Jaecoo J5 will compete strongly against rivals such as the Honda HR‑V, Proton X50 and Chery Tiggo Cross.

Powered by a 1.5L turbo four‑cylinder engine producing 147 PS and 210 Nm, the J5 uses a CVT transmission with front‑wheel drive.

The Jaecoo J5 is part of Omoda | Jaecoo’s 2026 launch plan, which also includes the Omoda C9 PHEV at an estimated RM220,000.
