Chery October 2026 sales reach 295,934 units, exports surge 58.7%

Chery Group recorded global sales of 295,934 vehicles in October 2026, up 5.3% year on year, setting a new monthly sales record. From January to October, total sales reached more than 2.503 million units, an increase of 9.3% compared with the same period last year.

Growth was particularly strong in overseas markets and new energy vehicles (NEVs), with October bringing several notable milestones for the Chinese automaker.

Chery exported 200,618 vehicles in October, up 58.7% year on year. It was the third month this year that the company had shipped more than 200,000 vehicles overseas in a single month, maintaining its position as China's leading automotive exporter.

Exports for the first 10 months of 2026 totalled 1,751,766 vehicles, representing a 64.8% increase over the same period last year.

Chery sold 140,893 new energy vehicles in October. Its NEV wholesale volume ranked among the top three in the industry, highlighting the company's growing presence in China's electrified vehicle market.

Chery's cumulative global customer base has now exceeded 21 million, reflecting the continued expansion of its business in markets around the world.

With its Globalisation 3.0 strategy now under way, Chery says it will continue to focus on technology development and product quality as it expands its international presence.
