Hyundai Stargazer: First 300 CBU units arrive in Malaysia, from est. RM 99k

Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has confirmed that the first 300 units of the new Stargazer have arrived in Malaysia as completely built-up (CBU) imports from Indonesia.

The shipment includes all three variants planned for the Malaysian market: Style, Prime and X.

Hyundai positions the new Stargazer as an all-round "WEhicle" for the family, with a focus on practicality, comfort and a more stylish design.

The new MPV is designed around everyday family use, whether that means getting the kids to school, running errands around town or heading out for a weekend trip to places such as Genting, Port Dickson or back to the kampung.

Estimated Malaysian prices

Hyundai Malaysia has previously indicated that the three CBU variants are expected to be priced as follows:

• Hyundai Stargazer Style: around RM 99,000
• Hyundai Stargazer Prime: around RM 109,000
• Hyundai Stargazer X: around RM 121,000

With the first shipment now in Malaysia, HMY is getting closer to the Stargazer's official launch. For customers who have already placed their bookings, the wait is now a little shorter.

The Stargazer has already been seen locally

The new Stargazer is not completely new to Malaysian audiences.

The Style and Prime variants were previously shown at KLIMS 2026, giving visitors an early look at the new MPV.

The crossover-style Stargazer X made its local appearance last month at HMY's Durian Runtuh promotional event at the MBPJ Stadium car park, where it attracted plenty of attention.

As more units arrive in Malaysia, Hyundai Malaysia is expected to announce the final pricing, full specifications, equipment and purchase offers at the official launch.
