Leapmotor has posted its 2026 first-half financial results, with revenue reaching RMB 38.11 billion (~RM 23.63 billion) and net profit of RMB 210 million (~RM 130 million). Vehicle deliveries also continued to grow, with the company handing over 356,487 vehicles worldwide in the first half of the year.
The latest results mark Leapmotor's third consecutive profitable half-year, while its overseas business and international sales network continue to expand.

Leapmotor delivered 356,487 vehicles worldwide in the first half of 2026, up 60.8% from the same period last year.
Based on comparable registration data for the first five months of the year, Leapmotor ranked fourth among global new energy passenger vehicle brands, behind BYD, Tesla and Geely. It ranked third among Chinese new energy brands over the same period.
The company then set another monthly record in July, delivering 101,267 vehicles, more than double the figure recorded a year earlier. Leapmotor became the first Chinese new-energy start-up to pass 100,000 deliveries in a single month. Its cumulative global deliveries had exceeded 1.6 million vehicles by the end of July.

Overseas sales have become an increasingly important part of Leapmotor's business. The company exported 96,294 vehicles in the first half, up 372.6% year on year and already more than its full-year export total for 2025.
In Malaysia, the B10 and C10 are already on sale as Leapmotor continues to expand across Southeast Asia.
Local assembly is also taking place at the Stellantis plant in Gurun, Kedah, supporting the brand's growing presence in the Malaysian market.
Elsewhere, Leapmotor has continued to build its presence in Europe. It remained the best-selling battery-electric brand in Italy, while becoming the best-selling Chinese EV brand in Germany in June. In the UK, it ranked among the top three Chinese brands by BEV retail sales.
Leapmotor International now has more than 1,000 sales and after-sales outlets across over 45 countries and regions.

Leapmotor now has a four-tier A, B, C and D product range, covering prices from around RMB 60,000 to RMB 300,000 (~RM 37,000 to RM 186,000).
The A series focuses on affordability, with the A10 bringing LiDAR into the sub-RMB 100,000 segment and setting a new production record for the brand.
The B series, which includes the new B01 and Malaysia-market B10, features an 800V electrical architecture and front-row zero-gravity seats.
The C series, including the C10, C11 and C16, covers the mainstream family-car market, while the D series sits at the top of the range with larger SUVs and MPVs.

Leapmotor continues to develop its core vehicle technologies in-house. Its LEAP4.0 centralised electronic architecture is designed to bring more vehicle functions under a single computing platform, while its urban assisted-driving system is being rolled out across more models.

The company is due to hold its annual technology event in September, where it is expected to unveil a new world model for advanced driver assistance along with further developments in its electric powertrain technology.
With its product range expanding and overseas production increasing, Leapmotor is continuing to work towards its goal of one million vehicle sales for the full year.
