Perodua donates nine Ativa and Aruz SUVs to Selangor police, bringing total contributions to 21 vehicles

Perodua has handed over nine vehicles to two police district headquarters in Selangor as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at supporting local law enforcement.

The latest contribution comprises seven Perodua Ativa SUVs and two Perodua Aruz SUVs, which have been allocated to the Hulu Selangor and KLIA District Police Headquarters (IPD).

The vehicles were delivered in two phases, beginning in April 2026 when three Ativa units were handed over to IPD Hulu Selangor.

The remaining six vehicles were officially presented during a handover ceremony held in Kuala Kubu Bharu on October 12, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by Selangor Police Chief Dato' Pahlawan Shazeli Dato' Kahar, who received a symbolic mock key from Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

According to Perodua, the contribution is intended to assist police personnel in carrying out their duties and strengthen the company's ongoing cooperation with law enforcement agencies.

Zainal expressed his appreciation for the police force's commitment to maintaining public safety, acknowledging the sacrifices made by officers in the course of their work.

He added that Perodua hopes the additional vehicles will support the police in their efforts to serve local communities.

The latest donation also builds on a relationship between Perodua and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) that stretches back several years.

Since 2019, Perodua has contributed a total of 21 vehicles to various district police headquarters across Selangor, including the nine units announced this week.

Earlier contributions included two Perodua Bezza sedans in 2019, with further vehicle donations made in subsequent years.

The initiative forms part of Perodua's broader CSR efforts, which include supporting public institutions and community welfare programmes.
