Spied! 2026 iCaur V25 seen on Elite Highway, launching soon?

It appears that road testing of the upcoming 2026 iCaur V25 has commenced, as spyshots of the new EV SUV have surfaced, depicting the new model on Elite Highway.

Courtesy of Vuvera Afiq’s post in the paultan.org Automotive/Car Discussion Group, he mentioned that he captured photos of this unidentified model on the Elite Highway.

This isn’t our first time seeing the iCaur V25.

Recall earlier this month, a lone spyshot captured not one, not two, but three units tucked away at an unknown underground car park. At that time, the source mentioned that the photo was taken in Malaysia, though we’re now more certain that that’s certainly the case.

iCaur V25? What’s that supposed to be?

Positioned between the iCaur V23 and larger iCaur V27, the iCaur V25 is a range-extender EV (REEV).

There’s a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 156 PS. That said, being an REEV means that the engine only functions as an on-board power generator and it does not drive the wheels.

The iCaur V25 is said to get a dual-motor electric AWD system, powered by a 33.67 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. Under the WLTC cycle, the iCaur V25 is able to return between 145 km to 150 km of pure electric driving range.

Inside the cabin, the iCaur V25 features a dashboard that’s largely similar to the iCaur V23, with a large touchscreen infotainment sitting atop a row of air-cond vents and physical climate control buttons and switches.

In terms of dimensions, the iCaur V25 comes in at 4,636 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,855 mm tall, with a 2,820 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance, of the China-spec car, is rated at 197 mm. Other noteworthy details include a 30º approach angle, 28º departure angle, and 17º longitudinal through angle.
