Spied! iCaur V25 spotted, to further expand iCaur Malaysia range?

Days after the iCaur V27 was spotted in Malaysia, we now have a spyshot of what appears to be the iCaur V25.

As seen on social media, a row of three iCaur V25s were seen in an underground car park, with the poster reportedly mentioning that the photo was taken in Malaysia, though the exact location remains unknown.

Curiously, this might be our very first look at the right-hand drive (RHD) version of the iCaur V25, as the model debuted as a left-hand drive (LHD) model in China. Whether or not Malaysia will be the first RHD market remains to be seen, however.

What is the iCaur V25?

The hint is in the name – the iCaur V25 is positioned between the iCaur V23 and V27 in the company’s ever-growing EV line-up.

Like the larger V27, the iCaur V25 is a range-extender EV (REEV), featuring a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that serves as an on-board power generator, producing 156 PS.

Being a REEV means that the engine does not drive the wheels, and the primary source of propulsion comes from the electric motor.

No word on power output, but the battery capacity is rated at 33.68-kWh, with an LFP chemistry. Under the WLTC test cycle, the iCaur V25 is said to return between 145 km to 150 km.

Between this or the iCaur V27, which is your pick? Let us know in the comment section.
