Spied: AMA02 Proton Saga Cross seen again, reveals tyre size and BSM

Another week, another AMA02 Proton Saga Cross spyshot. This time, we have a good look at the upcoming A-segment SUV’s tyre size, as well as its blind spot monitor (BSM) feature.

According to the spyshots we came across on social media, we have another good look at the upcoming AMA02 Saga Cross’ small details. Earlier, we noticed that the AMA02 Saga Cross would feature sequential LED turn signals.

This time around, Threads user qiqilow spotted the AMA02 Saga Cross and snapped a few high-quality shots, giving us a look at the car’s tyre size and BSM feature.

Per the spyshots, at least one variant of the AMA02 Saga Cross could receive a Sailun-branded tyre measuring 195/55R16. For context, the AMA02 Saga Cross’ rivals, Honda WR-V wears 17-inch tyres, while the Ativa wears 16- to 17-inch tyres, depending on variant. Granted, the Saga Cross mule we see here may not necessarily be the high-spec variant.

On top of that, this set of photos also give us a good look at the car’s blind spot monitor (BSM) indicator, which appear to be a thin strip of orange LEDs arranged in a slight curve, mirroring the X50. The Proton Saga MC3, on the other hand, gets a more regular pair of BSM indicators with the icons that illuminate.

The AMA02 Proton Saga Cross is set to be one of Proton’s upcoming model launches scheduled for later this year. Another model that Proton is set to debut is the updated 2027 Proton S70, in its Lite and Prime forms.
