Another week, another AMA02 Proton Saga Cross spyshot. This time around, we now have an early look at the new A-segment SUV’s sequential LED turn signals, courtesy of our reader, Amir Mohd Yusof.

Yes – the entry-level AMA02 Proton Saga Cross will likely have sequential LED turn signals, as seen in this spy video. That said, we reckon that this feature is very likely only for the top-spec hybrid variant; lower variants may not be fitted with this.
Apart from that, it appears that the AMA02 Saga Cross will adopt LED lighting, both for the front and rear – mirroring the AMA01 Saga MC3. From the spy video, it appears that the third brake light of the AMA02 Saga Cross will be LED-illumination, marking an upgrade over the Saga’s bulb unit.
The rest of the spied car appears to be similar to what we’ve covered earlier, including the window line kink towards the rear, 5-lug wheels, and large rear wing.
To recap, the AMA02 Proton Saga Cross is set to be Proton’s next model launch. It is likely going to be an A-segment SUV that’s aimed at rivals such as the Perodua Ativa and Honda WR-V.
In terms of powertrain options, rumours have it that the AMA02 Saga Cross will get:
The latter would likely be paired to the DHA120 single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, offering an output of 120 kW (163 PS).
