2026 Chengdu Auto Show: Chery Fengyun T7 Makes Debut, To Launch on August 26

August 21, the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show opened, Chery Group held the theme "China's Automotive, Global Champion", bringing Chery, Exeed, Jetour, iCAR, Vantech five major brands, total 38 models landed in Hall 5. Among them Chery brand brought 12 models, Fengyun T7 and Fengyun A9 "Beauty Twin Stars" appeared on stage together, Fengyun T7 was the focus of this booth.

Fengyun T7 is Chery's Smart Electric Age first native global model, previously launched in overseas markets like Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia. Domestic pre-sales market response was quite good. Official data shows pre-sale 9 days orders exceeded 16,787 units, pre-sale price 109,900 to 129,900 yuan. According to plan, new car will officially launch on August 26.

In terms of product power, Fengyun T7 features four key selling points "Super Performance, Global Beauty, Safer, Smart". Exterior adopts "Wind-riding Aesthetics" design language, blending Eastern heritage with global mainstream aesthetics together. Power equipped with 65.05 kWh Rhino Battery, paired with wide temperature range heat pump AC and high voltage PTC system, CLTC pure electric range 600 km, official real-world test without AC conditions range up to 647 km, supports 40 minutes fast charging to 80%, charging and range performance quite good.

Safety is the part Fengyun T7 emphasizes heavily. Whole vehicle relies on Rock-solid Body, 9 airbags and master-tuned chassis. Intelligence aspect equipped with Cockpit-Driving Integrated 8775 Chip, Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 and Falcon 500 Driving Assistance System. Chery also gave "Bottom-line" policy: vehicle due to battery thermal runaway quality issues can compensate original price new car, due to vehicle own issues leading to intelligent driving assistance failure compensate up to 5 million yuan, superimposed whole vehicle and three-electric lifetime warranty, after-sales guarantee strength quite sufficient.
