Looking for an Xpeng X9 in Malaysia? There's up to RM 45,000 of rewards, including free wallbox and more - but only for MY25 cars

Xpeng Malaysia has launched its "Mega X9 Rewards" ownership program, a limited-time initiative for June 2026 that offers up to RM 45,000 in benefits for buyers of the 2025 model year Xpeng X9.

Running from now until June 30, 2026, eligible customers will receive benefits including an RM 20,000 cash rebate, insurance coverage support of up to RM 10,000, a complimentary home charging wallbox valued at RM 5,000, and corporate fleet privileges worth RM 10,000 for eligible companies and qualified professionals.

Eligible for 2025 X9 - what is it?

The distinction here is that these offers apply only for the 2025 MY cars, meaning the one that was introduced locally on October 2025. Still, it's plenty of car for the money.

Propelling the seven-seater is a single front motor outputting 320 PS (235 kW) and 450 Nm of torque, which is good enough to shoot the 2.6 tonne MPV from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 200 km/h.

With three variants on offer here, the Standard Range model features an 84.5 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery for a WLTP-rated range of 500 km. The Long Range variants (2WD Pro and 2WD Pro+) gain a 101.5 kWh nickle manganese (NMC) battery, enough for a 590 km WLTP range on one charge.

Charging capabilities round up to 235 kW max DC fast charging for the Standard Range, and 317 kW for the Long Range variants, and all variants will top up from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes. There's also 11 kW on-board AC charging.

Features-wise, the X9 comes with twin 50-watt Qi wireless chargers, 23-speaker setup as part of the 2,180 watt Xopera surround sound system, and five-zone climate control.

The Xpeng X9 comes standard with a comprehensive safety suite anchored by six airbags and a full array of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Active safety and collision mitigation are managed through autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with collision prevention, rear cross traffic alert, and a door opening warning.

For highway and lane management, the vehicle features adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, lane change assist, and speed limit assist. Additional convenience and visibility features include automatic high beams alongside a specialized park assist system that supports both remote and summon functionalities.

The Xpeng X9 retails from RM 280,708 for the Standard Range 2WD Pro, RM 298,708 for the Long Range Pro, and RM 314,708 for the Long Range Pro+. All prices are on-the-road before insurance and ongoing promotions.
