The reduction follows a dip in global crude oil prices last week (Brent crude fell below USD 80 per barrel) amid hopes of resolving US-Iran tensions. However, MOF noted that global oil prices remain volatile due to ongoing geopolitical risks around the Strait of Hormuz.
