SAIC-GM-Wuling BingoEV Launches in Malaysia: Pro & Max Variants Now Available via Tan Chong Group

SAIC-GM-Wuling has officially launched the BingoEV in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in partnership with strategic collaborator Tan Chong Group. The electric vehicle is introduced in two variants: the BingoEV Pro priced at RM62,800 and the BingoEV Max at RM67,800.

Marking the first core model under the deepened "Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand" integrated strategy, the BingoEV will be locally assembled in Malaysia. Since its global debut, the Bingo series has achieved cumulative sales exceeding 650,000 units, recognized for its retro-futuristic design and spacious interior. This launch signals a new phase in Wuling's new energy globalization strategy within the ASEAN region.

The two variants differ primarily in battery capacity and driving range. The Pro model is equipped with a 31.9kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 333km, while the Max variant features a larger 37.9kWh battery, extending the driving range to 410km.

Prior to its official launch, Wuling conducted a nationwide roadshow across Malaysia, offering test drives and interactive experiences in key regions. These initiatives have attracted over 100,000 visitors and generated significant pre-launch interest and bookings.

The BingoEV will be sold nationwide through Tan Chong Group's TQ Wuling dealership network, complemented by comprehensive after-sales services and charging support. Wuling plans to introduce more high-quality new energy products and technologies to Malaysia under the regional integration strategy, collaborating with local partners to advance sustainable mobility solutions.
