New XPeng X9 Launches in Malaysia, Starting at RM280,700

The facelifted XPeng X9 all-electric MPV has officially launched in Malaysia, with prices ranging from RM280,700 to RM314,700.

As a model-year update, the new X9 retains its original overall design while introducing key enhancements. The most notable change is the optional decorative trims for the fog light area, replacing the previous laser radar setup with an all-visual Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solution. The 2025 XPeng X9 also offers three new exterior colors – Nebula Purple, Galaxy Blue, and Starship Grey – and comes standard with an AI ADAS indicator light.

Two new wheel designs are available in 19-inch and 20-inch sizes. A standout feature is the dynamic fixed-axis floating wheel hub technology, which keeps the central logo stationary while the wheels rotate. The vehicle's dimensions remain unchanged, measuring 5,293mm in length, 1,988mm in width, and 1,785mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160mm.

In terms of performance, the single-motor variant delivers a maximum power output of 235kW, while the dual-motor version features front and rear motors with maximum outputs of 235kW and 135kW respectively. The entry-level model is equipped with an 84.5kWh battery, offering a driving range of 500km, while the long-range variant comes with a 101.5kWh battery that extends the range to 590km.
