Chery will launch the first-ever automotive AI model at the Global Innovation Conference 2026 on October 20

Chery Global Innovation Conference 2026 will take place on 20 October in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China, under the theme "Change".

At the event, Chery will present its Yaoguang 2035 Strategy, which sets out the company's ambition to move beyond car manufacturing and become a global intelligent technology company, with artificial intelligence (AI) playing a central role.

Chery's automotive AI model

Chery says it will unveil what it describes as the automotive industry's first domain-specific AI large model at the conference.

The model draws on the company's work in computing power, algorithms and data. Chery will also show an automotive-grade chip developed for a physical AI world model.

The aim is to bring AI further into vehicle development and manufacturing, while opening up applications that address needs beyond the car itself.

Smarter mobility and new energy

Chery will also present updates across its intelligent mobility and new energy businesses.

Its Falcon driver assistance system and Lingxi intelligent cockpit are both due for upgrades, with the updated technologies set to feature in more Chery models.

The company will also unveil the world's first factory-built Robotaxi developed for global markets. Its Lingxiao eVTOL flying car will make an appearance too.

On the energy front, Chery says it has built a system spanning energy generation, storage, transmission and use. The conference will host the global debut of its AC vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, alongside a new fast-charging system.

Robots and smart farming

Chery's plans also extend into robotics and agricultural equipment.

On 16 October, the company signed a strategic agreement with State Grid Corporation of China to begin work on its first large-scale V2G demonstration station.

In the field of embodied AI, Chery's AiMOGA robots are already in regular use across more than 100 settings, including education and healthcare.

At the conference, AiMOGA will unveil Mobo, its first consumer humanoid robot designed to provide companionship at home. Global reservations are due to open at the same time.

Chery will also show its smart agricultural machinery range to the public for the first time.

The conference will bring together announcements spanning AI, vehicle technology, energy, robotics and agricultural machinery, reflecting the broader range of businesses Chery is pursuing beyond its traditional car-making operations.
