At Penang Autoshow 2026, Jetour Auto Malaysia officially unveiled its latest contender — the Jetour T1. Following the strong reception of the T2, the T1 arrives as a more approachable and refined sibling, with order books now officially open.
While the T2 targets fans of the rugged, boxy "hardcore" look, the T1 is designed for modern Malaysian drivers who want a balance of light off-road aesthetics and everyday urban practicality.

The Jetour T1 will be offered in two powertrain options:
Early indications suggest that, like the T2, the final on-the-road price could be even more competitive, with attractive early-bird rebates expected for the first customers.
The T1 retains the rugged DNA of the T2 but adopts a sleeker and more streamlined silhouette:
At 4,705 mm in length with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the T1 is slightly shorter than the T2 due to the removal of the external spare wheel, yet it still offers generous interior space.
2.0T XWD (High Spec): Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo engine producing 245 PS and 375 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) and an intelligent XWD four-wheel drive system with "7+X" driving modes.
1.5T 2WD (Entry Level): Delivers approximately 184 PS and 290 Nm, prioritising fuel efficiency for daily commuting.
The cabin adopts the same high-tech T-shaped layout as the T2. Malaysian buyers will receive the all-black interior instead of the mint green theme offered in some other markets.

The Jetour T1 also boasts a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, providing strong peace of mind for family buyers.
Jetour continues to offer one of the strongest warranty packages in the market:
The Jetour T1 is clearly positioned for buyers who like the adventurous "off-road look" but spend most of their time navigating city traffic. Sitting in the highly competitive RM140,000–RM150,000 price range, it is entering one of the toughest segments in the Malaysian SUV market.
