Honda Malaysia has opened bookings for the 2026 Honda City Hatchback facelift, with reservations now available through authorised dealerships nationwide and the company's online booking platform.
This is the second facelift for the City Hatchback since 2024. The updated model is expected to be officially launched in the coming weeks.

The entire range gets a redesigned front end with Honda's Connected Headlights design. The headlights are slimmer than before, while the lower air intake on the front bumper varies depending on the variant.
At the rear, the facelift gets a redesigned diffuser. The RS variant also gets new 16-inch Berlina Black two-tone alloy wheels with dark machined detailing, giving it a sportier look.

The cabin gets one of the biggest updates, with higher-spec variants now fitted with a 10-inch floating Display Audio touchscreen.
The dashboard gets a new textured 3D silver finish, with a red accent line and either red or blue ambient lighting. The RS also gets a newly designed seat upholstery.
Honda's signature ULTRA Seats system remains, offering four configurations: Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh.

For the first time, the City Hatchback range will come with a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System. The system adds multiple viewing angles as well as moving object detection.
Honda Malaysia has also added Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitoring, alongside the existing LaneWatch camera. Together, the systems give drivers a better view of the areas around both sides of the car.
From the V variant onwards, the door mirrors also get automatic folding, while the RS adds an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror.

The e:HEV remains the flagship powertrain. It uses Honda's 1.5-litre i-MMD hybrid system, with a 109PS, 253Nm electric motor driving the wheels and a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine acting as a generator.
The petrol variants continue with a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with a CVT.
For peace of mind, the City Hatchback e:HEV comes with a 10-year, unlimited-mileage warranty for the hybrid battery and related components.
All City Hatchback variants also get Honda Malaysia's new eight-year, unlimited-mileage factory warranty, which took effect on September 1.
Honda Malaysia has yet to reveal the full variant line-up or pricing.
The facelift is expected to follow the City Sedan's line-up and reduce the number of City Hatchback variants from five to four, with the entry-level S variant reportedly being dropped.
The current City Hatchback is priced from RM 85,900 to RM 112,900, on-the-road excluding insurance in Peninsular Malaysia. Pricing for the facelift will be announced at a later date.
