On 1 September 2026, Honda Malaysia officially launched the 2026 Honda WR-V facelift. This marks the first major update for the compact crossover since its local debut in July 2023. Since its launch in Malaysia, over 24,000 units of the WR-V have been delivered on Malaysian roads.

For this update, Honda has streamlined the lineup from four variants down to three, discontinuing the entry-level S spec. The E variant now serves as the new baseline option—priced at RM94,900. Go for the V variant if: You are happy to spend an extra RM4,000 to upgrade to full LED lighting, leather upholstery, a 6-speaker audio setup, and auto climate control. The V variant represents the sweet spot in the lineup, offering substantial, practical upgrades for less than the cost of a flagship smartphone.

Go for the RS variant if: A 360-degree camera is a must-have, or you want the convenience of wireless charging and the head-turning two-tone red finish. Spending an extra RM6,000 bags you top-spec tech and distinctive styling, though the real-world utility of these features comes down to personal preference.
