Denza has officially launched the Z9GT and D9 in Indonesia, alongside the introduction of BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology.
According to the company, the new charging technology can bring a compatible battery to a high state of charge in just five minutes and fully charge it in nine minutes, bringing EV charging times closer to those of a conventional petrol stop.

Speaking at the launch, Liu Xueliang, BYD Vice President and General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, said the company's approach to technology goes beyond simply manufacturing and selling cars.
"True passion for technology means believing in a vision of the future and working tirelessly to make it a reality," Liu said.
"For BYD, innovation is no longer just about building and selling cars. We believe a company's value lies not only in its own strength, but also in how it uses technology to benefit society and make advanced innovations accessible to more people."
He added that bringing the second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology to Indonesia was part of BYD's efforts to make new technology more accessible to local consumers and useful in everyday life.

BYD's Flash Charging system includes an energy storage unit and what the world's first T-shaped overhead charging design. It also features a lightweight "zero-gravity" charging connector and Plug and Charge functionality, making the charging process easier.
The first phase will see Flash Charging stations installed at 10 Denza dealerships across Indonesia, with access open to the public.
BYD plans to expand the technology into the wider public charging network by the end of 2026, giving more drivers access to its ultra-fast charging system.

The Denza Z9GT and D9 are among the first models to feature the second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology.
The Denza D9 luxury MPV receives upgrades to its performance, driving range and passenger comfort. It continues to target both business users and families looking for a premium MPV.
The Denza Z9GT is built around BYD's e³ technology platform, combining electric performance, intelligent vehicle control and a sleek grand tourer design.
With the two models serving different types of buyers, Denza is expanding its luxury new energy vehicle (NEV) line-up in Indonesia, offering more choices for customers looking for premium electric mobility.
