Fuel prices drop: Unsubsidised RON95, RON97 and diesel all decrease from 5 November - 11 November 2026

Motorists paying market rates will get some welcome relief at the pumps today, with the Ministry of Finance announcing a price drop across unsubsidised RON95, RON97 and diesel for the period of 5 to 11 November.

The latest revision sees RON97 drop by 20 sen from RM 4.90 to RM 4.70 per litre, while unsubsidised RON95 drops by 15 sen from RM 4.42 to RM 4.27 per litre. Meanwhile, retail diesel in Peninsular Malaysia decreases by 15 sen from RM 5.27 to RM 5.12 per litre.

Subsidised fuel prices remain untouched

Eligible Malaysians under the BUDI95 programme will continue to pay RM 1.99 per litre for RON95, while BUDI Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia stays at RM 2.10 per litre (RM 2.15 per litre in East Malaysia). Prices under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) and Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS) also remain unchanged at RM 2.05 and RM 2.15 per litre, respectively.

Summary of Fuel Prices (5 November – 11 November 2026)

The latest adjustment follows the government's weekly Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), which tracks movements in international fuel prices.

For motorists using unsubsidised RON95 or RON97, this week's price cut means saving up to RM 10.00 on a full 50-litre tank, while Peninsular diesel drivers will save RM 7.50 per full tank compared to last week.
