Hyundai STARGAZER officially launched in Malaysia. A family 'WEhicle' from RM99,800

Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has officially launched the all-new Hyundai STARGAZER to Malaysian market. Positioning the multi purpose vehicle (MPV) under the moniker ‘The WEhicle’, Hyundai aims to redefine family transportation by focusing on how modern families live, travel, and move together.

The STARGAZER range enters the market in three distinct variants. The Style, Prime, and X. With each offering tailored seating configurations, advanced technology, and high value ownership packages to suit various household needs.

What is 'The WEhicle'?

Rather than viewing an MPV purely as a mode of carrying passengers, Hyundai engineered the STARGAZER around the everyday realities of family life. From daily school runs to weekend getaways.

Ms. Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Malaysia, emphasized that the STARGAZER offers smart space, accessible premium comfort and uncompromised safety while making everyday driving effortless.

Inside, the cabin features practical storage solutions and thoughtful interior touches, including:

• A cargo floor box with lid
• Seat-back tables for rear passengers
• Multiple USB charging ports placed throughout the cabin
• On the STARGAZER X, a floating centre console complete with a detachable tray for extra adaptability

Three variants tailored to every family

Hyundai has structured the STARGAZER line-up across three price points and specification levels:

1. STARGAZER Style – RM99,800

• Seating: 7-seat configuration (2+3+2)
• Exterior: LED headlamps featuring Hyundai's H-signature daytime running lights (DRLs) with 16-inch alloy wheels
• Infotainment & Cluster: 8-inch multimedia player paired with a 4.2-inch TFT LCD color meter cluster

2. STARGAZER Prime – RM109,800

• Seating: 7-seat configuration
• Displays: Dual 10.25-inch screens for instrument cluster and infotainment
• Safety: Full Hyundai SmartSense (ADAS 2.0) suite and 6 airbags

3. STARGAZER X – RM121,800

• Seating: Premium 6-seat layout featuring 2nd-row Captain Chairs (2+2+2)
• Design: SUV-inspired styling with aggressive front and rear bumpers, sporty rear spoiler, black Hyundai emblems, black gloss alloy wheels, and full leatherette upholstery
• Convenience: Shift-By-Wire transmission controls
