Over the past year or so, from its debut in Thailand to its localised production in Indonesia, Mitsubishi’s electrification push in Southeast Asia has noticeably gathered pace.

Mitsubishi has officially introduced the Xforce HEV in Indonesia, making it the brand’s first hybrid model sold in the country. The compact SUV is locally assembled (CKD) and joins the existing Xforce range as an electrified alternative for buyers looking for lower-emission urban transport.

The competition in Malaysia's B-segment SUV market has never been more intense. While major players continue to battle for dominance, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has delivered an impressive early victory: the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce, officially launched on April 8, is projected to achieve 900 unit deliveries by the end of its first month.
