The all-new Mitsubishi Pajero has made its global market debut in Thailand, where prices start at THB 1,499,000 (approximately RM 182k). Production takes place at Mitsubishi Motors' plant in Laem Chabang, Chonburi, Thailand.

Australia and Japan are next, with pre-orders and sales expected to begin in mid-December. Mitsubishi also plans to roll out the new Pajero to around 100 countries and regions from the 2027 financial year, including markets in the Middle East and Latin America.
The all-new Mitsubishi Pajero is offered in Thailand across 3 variants, with pricing as follows:
White Diamond, Phantom Blue and two-tone roof options cost an additional THB 20,000.

The new Pajero stays true to the nameplate's off-road roots, with Mitsubishi placing particular emphasis on four-wheel-drive capability, reliability and durability. At the same time, the company says it has worked to improve ride comfort and handling on the road.
Mitsubishi also promises a more upmarket look and feel for its flagship SUV.
Keisuke Kishiura, President and Chief Operating Officer of Mitsubishi Motors, said Thailand was a natural choice for the Pajero's global rollout, given its importance to the company as both a major market and a manufacturing and export base.
"The all-new Pajero is a flagship model that embodies Mitsubishi Motors and is positioned among the top-tier cross-country SUVs in the Thai market. We will continue to deliver appealing products from Thailand to customers around the world and provide value that exceeds expectations," he added.

With the Pajero being built in Thailand, importing it into Malaysia as a completely built-up (CBU) model is one possibility.
There is no official word yet from Mitsubishi Motors on a Malaysian launch or when it might happen.
