We recommend doing your research, comparing quotes from several dealerships, and then test driving to make a final decision. Buying a car is a big matter, spending time doing research will definitely not be wrong.

August 20, Unitree Technology humanoid robot "Bennen" entered the automotive scenario in the identity of "Silicon-based Car Reviewer", experiencing the new Li Auto L9 Livis. It crawled into the second-row space, lay on the zero-gravity seats, and also used the car's charging interface to "recharge" itself. The next day, this special "car reviewer" changed into a work uniform, received an ID badge, and "joined" Li Auto in the identity of "AI Experience Officer".

"Robots joining auto enterprises" is quite topical, but if we trace the timeline back, we will find that "Bennen" is not the first humanoid robot to enter an auto store.
Since 2024, more and more humanoid robots have begun to enter automotive sales and service scenarios. What is changing, perhaps, is not just that there is a "silicon-based employee" added to the store, but that auto enterprises are trying to answer a new question: What exactly can humanoid robots do in the sales service system?
Starting from an Intern Salesperson
Time back to July 2024.
At a Yongda Auto 4S store in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, Agibot robot "Ezpro A2" started a special "internship". During the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Shanghai Observer reported that before unveiling at the auto show, "Ezpro A2" already had nearly 10 months of automotive sales experience; outside the 4S store, it also appeared on the stands of SAIC Roewe, BAIC, Changan, and other brands.
The significance of this attempt lies in the robot facing the real automotive sales scenario more directly for the first time: introducing vehicles, answering consumer questions, and interacting. Compared with standardized testing in the laboratory, the customer flow and questions in real stores are more complex, and thus better test the robot's perception, interaction, and movement capabilities.
February 2025, similar attempts continued to appear.
Magic Atomic humanoid robot "Xiaowei" entered a Deepal Auto store in a mall in Wuxi to serve as a sales guide. On-site video showed that it recruited customers outside the store together with a robot dog, and explained vehicle parameters to consumers. On-site staff referred to it as one of the early humanoid robots to enter the automotive sales scenario for service.
In the same year, the role of auto enterprises began to change.
Chery established Anhui Mojia Zhichuang Robot Technology Co., Ltd. in January 2025, and launched its first humanoid robot "Moyin" in March. Chery officials later revealed that Moyin has already been put into use in a Malaysian automotive 4S store, undertaking tasks such as customer reception, product introduction, sales guidance, and model recommendation.
This means the path for robots to enter auto stores began to change: from robot enterprises actively seeking application scenarios, gradually turning into auto enterprises researching and developing themselves.
By 2026, this exploration further extended to domestic automotive consumption scenarios.
Early August, BYD's first commercial service humanoid robot "Xiaodi" completed its first public real-machine unveiling in Zhengzhou "Di Space". Followed closely, Unitree's "Bennen" and Li Auto's cross-border linkage became the latest case.
Not Just Adding "Fresh Faces"
Currently, humanoid robot applications in auto stores roughly present two different paths.

The earliest appearance was robot enterprises actively "testing the waters". Cases such as "Ezpro A2" and "Xiaowei" mainly undertook scenario verification and capability demonstration, giving robot enterprises the opportunity to interact with real consumers.
What followed was auto enterprises developing themselves. Chery established Mojia Robot and launched "Moyin", indicating that auto enterprises began to incorporate humanoid robots into their own intelligent layout; the appearance of BYD's "Xiaodi" further brought self-developed robots to domestic store scenarios.
It needs to be pointed out that humanoid robots entering auto stores is not just to add a "fresh face" to the showroom.
For robot enterprises, the store is a relatively standardized application environment with real foot traffic. Greetings, model explanations, function demonstrations, guiding consumers and other work, there are many tasks with clear processes and high repeatability, suitable for robots to verify capabilities.
For auto enterprises, humanoid robots also provide new service tools.
But automotive sales is not simply reciting product parameters. Consumers may raise questions that were not preset, or may require comparisons between different car models, or even involve complex content such as prices, finance, and after-sales. Whether robots can truly undertake these work, we cannot only look at the demonstration effect once, but see if they can run continuously in real stores.
How Far Is It from Truly "Selling Cars"
When "silicon-based employees" walk from the stand to the store, from one-off eye-catching marketing to long-term daily work, this cross-border heat wave is fading pure technological romanticism.
XPeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng also frankly admitted that humanoid robot R&D difficulty is dozens of times that of cars, "entering the factory to work" is not the optimal solution for China in the short term, currently it is more suitable for scenarios such as sales guidance, display and companionship. This judgment actually defines the boundary for the role of humanoid robots in auto stores: it can be an excellent "Experience Officer", but in the short term it is still difficult to become a qualified "Salesperson".
What truly determines whether this technology can stay in the auto store is not how many onlookings it can cause, but whether it can truly improve service efficiency, improve consumer experience, and finally cross the cost barrier, handing over a quantifiable business report.
From the current perspective, this question has no standard answer. Li Auto has more than 400 retail centers nationwide. If scaled deployment is required, the cost of adding at least one robot per store is a considerable test for terminal operating profits. And the cost inflection point of the industry as a whole has not arrived yet — analysis points out that Q4 2026 may see a small-batch bidding window, but "large-scale procurement still needs ROI model verification".
The story of humanoid robots in auto stores has just begun. Whether it is ultimately a gust of wind or a road depends on whether in the next one or two years, these "silicon-based employees" can turn from highlights on the stand into productivity in the store that can be accounted for clearly.

Chery Tiggo 8 Pro warranty 3 years/100,000km, maintenance interval every 10,000km or 6 months.

Honda CR-V and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro are both mainstream choices in the Malaysian market, suitable for family use and daily commuting. If you value brand reputation and resale value more, you can prioritize the one with better reputation; if you care more about value for money and features, then choose the one with richer configurations. Ultimately, it is recommended to test drive both, as personal experience is the most important.
Overall, the Honda CR-V and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro are both very good car models in the Malaysian market. Which one to choose depends on your personal needs and budget. Buying a car is a big matter, spending some time researching is never wrong.

Three years ago, IM staff tasted the sweetness and daze of a hit product arrival—
On October 13, 2023, the first-generation IM LS6 went on sale, and the order server crashed for more than 20 minutes.
In November—the first complete delivery month, it topped the mid-to-large Pure Electric SUV segment sales champion;
In December, it refreshed the single-month record with 9,878 units, retaining the sales champion title;
In 2024, LS6 won the mid-to-large Pure Electric SUV annual sales champion with a sales volume of about 41,000 units;
Until January 2026, LS6 cumulative deliveries exceeded 100,000 units.
Who wouldn't want to taste such happiness again and keep it in hand?
However, in China's fiercely competitive automotive market, any "king" faces countless models constantly challenging, with new kings emerging. Everyone needs to iterate and upgrade rapidly.
On September 10, the new generation IM LS6 also arrived, with a pre-sale price starting from 209,900 Yuan.

IM Motors Vice President Xu Yin announces IM LS6 pre-sale price
"LS6 was released in 2023, and has already undergone four generations of iteration by now." said IM Motors Vice President Xu Yin. "We just want to bring the latest technology to users continuously."
Of course, in IM's summarized "hit formula", technology is only one variable. If comparing the first-generation IM LS6 and the new generation IM LS6, you will find many commonalities between the two.
This is inevitable—
IM LS6 wants to personally take back the lost glory.
01
First Generation Sales Champion, How Was It Forged?
Time rewinds to October 2023. At that time, in the mid-to-large Pure Electric SUV market, Tesla Model Y was the sole price setter, with the 260,000-350,000 Yuan price band almost unshakable by anyone.
IM LS6 faced competition directly, setting the starting price at 214,900 Yuan, nearly 50,000 Yuan lower than Model Y. More importantly, the entire series came standard with NVIDIA Orin-X chips and LiDAR. During the pre-launch benefit period, the intelligent driving package was free for life.
This pricing strategy stemmed from a simple logic: In the fiercely competitive market in China today, setting a medium price simply because the product is good is not truly good for users—only converting technical sincerity into price sincerity can truly benefit users.
Fact proved the success of this strategy. After LS6 was released, the order server crashed for more than 20 minutes, and traffic exceeded the estimated peak by 50 times.
But price alone was not enough. IM prepared fully for this hot sale: On the production side, the Lingang Factory started a two-shift system, raising monthly capacity to 26,000 units; on the channel side, sales outlets rapidly expanded from 200 to 260; delivery processes were brought forward, with precise day-level nodes for display cars arriving at stores and test drive cars being ready.
This combination of "Advanced Technology + Precise Pricing + Full Value Perception + Traffic Reception" allowed LS6 to top the sales champion for the last two months of 2023 consecutively, and securely sit as the segment annual champion throughout 2024.

Entering 2025, market competition became even fiercer. Although IM LS6 was still in the first tier, the title of sales champion had already fallen away.
02
New Generation LS6: Sales Champion Returns
On September 10, the new generation LS6 went on pre-sale, and the speaker at the launch event was Xu Yin.
This June, Xu Yin returned from SAIC Thailand to the domestic market, serving as IM Motors Vice President and actually managing IM Motors.
Returning from the Thailand market, he suddenly faced the more competitive environment in China, but over 20 years of SAIC experience gave him confidence: "We have put all the heritage of SAIC's 70 years of car making into this, and all the latest technologies are all in on this car."

Xu Yin communicating with media after the launch event
Like the first-generation IM LS6, the new generation LS6 must also play a dominating technology card in terms of technology.
First is the "Pearl on the Crown of Automotive Technology", the hottest in the industry, By-wire Chassis—Full By-wire Lingxi Chassis.
Compared to IM's previous Lingxi Digital Chassis, Full By-wire means not only the previous By-wire Braking but also By-wire Steering. Additionally, it adopts aviation-grade triple safety redundancy design, with 20ms ultra-fast response speed, and a 4.49m ultra-small turning radius.
Full By-wire Chassis is also the basic capability for Level 3 Autonomous Driving. Without By-wire, there is no Autonomous Driving.
Its advantage also lies in the improvement of handling safety.
"Five stars are safety that is crash-tested, By-wire is safety before losing control. The Full By-wire Chassis wants to let everyone receive safety protection a step earlier." Xu Yin said at the launch event.
Currently, only Porsche and a few domestic car companies have Full By-wire Chassis equipped on cars, but the price is expensive.
"We have moved the configurations of 400,000 and 500,000 Yuan level luxury cars down to the 200,000 Yuan level." Xu Yin said.
Secondly, since it is a Pure Electric Car, it still needs to compete on Pure Electric Energy Efficiency. IM LS6 brings the next-generation NEO Three-Electric Architecture this time. Adopting the latest Hurricane Motor, with technical support such as ultra-thin silicon steel sheets and rotor tunnel cooling, efficiency increased by 2.8%, and weight reduced by 8%.
The latest generation NEO Hurricane Motor paired with Energy Efficiency Master Management System 3.0 reduces百公里 energy consumption to as low as 12.7kWh, the lowest in its class. Global 800V High-Voltage Platform supports 396kW Super Fast Charging, recharging 500km in 15 minutes, and compatible with more than 90% of charging piles on the market."Not pursuing one-sided digital fast charging, but letting users charge fully and quickly at any pile." Xu Yin stated.

Third is Full-Range AI Intelligence.
IM AD Zeta Assisted Driving, jointly developed by IM and Momenta, empowers L2 functions with L4 model capabilities; Industry-first IM CLAW Lobster Agent can understand vague intentions and automatically plan routes. "Handling a string of tasks with one sentence, this is the real AI assistant." Jiao Qiao, Senior Director of IM Brand and User, introduced.

Jiao Qiao, Senior Director of IM Brand and User
But besides technology, Xu Yin also emphasized multiple times that the new generation IM LS6 also brings Aviation-Level Comfort and Luxury.
Taking "Fridge, Color TV, Big Sofa" as an example, the new generation IM LS6 can also compete hard.
"Fridge"—11L double-door fridge is the largest in its class, both front and rear rows can easily retrieve items;
"Color TV"—Full series standard 27.1-inch 5K MiniLED Premium Cockpit Main Screen, featuring Rainy Night Mode 2.0, Full-Range Digital Vision Blind Spot Assistance, AIOS Interaction capabilities, passenger side can optionally select 15.6-inch 3K MiniLED Passenger Immersive Entertainment Screen;
"Big Sofa"—New generation LS6 full series driver's seat standard 4D Mechanical Massage Seats, massage intensity is 7 times that of pneumatic massage; Passenger side equipped with Zero-Gravity Chaise Lounge, with three adjustable modes; Every seat has ventilation, heating, massage.
IM LS6 also comes standard with Danish B&O Sound System, inviting masters for exclusive tuning, restoring music's original nature with Hi-Fi sound quality.
All the above technologies and configurations are IM's "old method"—downloading Million-Level Luxury Car function configurations to achieve Technology Equalization.
"New generation LS6 is our answer to the 200,000-level market with our greatest sincerity." Xu Yin said.
03
Battle for No. 1 in 200,000 Pure EV
Can the new generation LS6 recreate or even surpass the glory of that year?
This question is not only an industry doubt but also a proposition that Xu Yin's team must answer.
The first-generation LS6 once created a glory of topping the sales chart continuously at the end of 2023 and in 2024, but in 2025 sales temporarily fell. Among gains and losses, IM team naturally also conducted a review.
Now that the new generation LS6 is issued again, Xu Yin chose to respond to the battle with three dimensions: "Over-level Technology Configuration Full Value Perception + Emotional Value + Traffic Reception".
Recalling the four-generation iteration process of LS6, Xu Yin said, "Among the four generations, the first generation came standard with LiDAR, the industry first; the second generation landed Lingxi Digital Chassis, standard four-wheel steering, also our first; the third generation led the industry's large battery super range extension development; the fourth generation is today's Full By-wire Chassis."
Back then, LS6 was able to explode the market, relying on the "Entry-Level Standard" Technology Equalization tactic. This time the new generation LS6 continues this logic, with four major hardcore strengths standard.
Besides these core functions, configurations such as B&O Sound System, 4D Seats, Entertainment Screen, Fridge etc. are also provided, the pre-sale rights total value exceeds 35,000 Yuan, all limited time free upgrade.
Such technology and configurations make its value perception very prominent.
In the automotive consumption field, for a long time it was Brand + Dimensions + Function + Configuration that determined price, but in the Smart Electric Era, Emotional Value has also become a support point for price. The design, interaction taillights, welcome light carpet, retractable tri-screen of the first-generation IM LS6, etc., were all prominent manifestations of Emotional Value.
The new generation LS6 continues to explore emotional value perceivable by users. Like the driver's seat equipped with 4D Mechanical Massage Seats, massage intensity is 7 times that of pneumatic massage, with five ancient meridian techniques. Jiao Qiao said, "We worked hard all day in meetings, getting on the car and pressing a bit is very de-stressing."
Another example, Preparing Super Right-Row First Class Cabin for "The Boss at Home", with Zero Gravity and Chaise Lounge two modes can lie down to watch shows, paired with 15.6-inch 3K Super Large Screen, more comfortable than home sofa.

IM LS6 Super Right-Row First Class Cabin
Also in terms of color, IM LS6 adds Jimmy Silver, Late Summer Green two bespoke car colors, interior uses Artistic Diamond Perforation and Pyramid Nail Pattern—giving consumers who like Haipai design and pay attention to taste enough reason to buy.
In the pre-sale phase of the first-generation LS6, IM welcomed "Overwhelming Traffic", which was finally converted into sales. This time IM LS6 pre-sale, the heat is also good. Xu Yin introduced, "Display cars in stores nationwide are all ready, test drive cars are also ready." "For the customer flow growth brought by new car pre-sale, store reception support we have all implemented." Xu Yin said, as of last month, IM has 436 stores nationwide.
After the pre-sale price starting from 209,900 Yuan was announced, the new generation LS6 officially entered market competition.
Since Xu Yin took over IM, he did not lightly mention sales targets. After this pre-sale launch event, he just said, "I believe this car will be very competitive in the market, the results in the next step will make everyone satisfied."
But with a peak ahead, the new generation IM LS6 can only climb the peak again. From the product strength it shows, the Hit Gene is awakening.

In 2021, the last fourth-generation Pajero rolled off the line at the Gifu Plant. The Japanese hardcore off-road benchmark that has spanned nearly 40 years globally and sold over 3.29 million units entered a 5-year dormancy period.
Recently, Mitsubishi Motor officially unveiled the new Pajero. The fifth-generation product is manufactured in Thailand and launched in Japan and Australia markets. Next year it will be sold in over 100 countries and regions — among which China is likely not included. Besides the diesel engine debut by Mitsubishi not fitting local conditions, the expected starting price of around 330,000 overseas, combined with tariffs and freight, results in a price over 400,000 domestically, also facing severe challenges from same-class products.
For example, GAC has accumulated experience from joint ventures with Mitsubishi and Jeep, launching the Trumpchi Yue 7 with a pre-sale price starting at 179,800. The two models used similar gold paint as advertising color, but the new Pajero loses in size, power, and configuration. Only after 27 years does it return to a body-on-frame chassis, giving the new Mitsubishi car the confidence to challenge the Toyota LC250 Prado again.
01
Body-on-Frame Chassis Revival, Hard Specs Inferior to Yue 7
Focusing on the new Pajero, the first thing to discuss is its chassis. Starting from the third-generation Pajero released in 1999, Mitsubishi switched to a unibody with a built-in ladder frame. This new car is developed based on the latest Triton pickup platform. On one hand, it is a return to reason and ancestral teachings, passing the torch of V97 to Trumpchi Yue 7. On the other hand, it also solves the cost difficulty of independent Pajero development, providing material basis for its resurrection.

This also explains why the new Pajero is manufactured in Thailand — after all, this is the hometown of the Southeast Asian version L200. However, the new Pajero is not simply understood as the off-road version of Triton. Mitsubishi only uses pickup design for the front suspension and front floor; all other chassis components are newly built. The new car adopts a traditional independent ladder frame chassis. High-strength steel and enlarged cross-section make its anti-torsion and anti-bending rigidity improved.
The new Pajero front suspension is double wishbone structure. The rear suspension consists of a solid axle with five links and coil springs. Compared with the four-wheel independent suspension of the previous two generations, its comfort on the highway may be compromised, but the suspension travel and impact resistance will be better. Combined with improved load capacity, the performance of the new Pajero in off-road scenarios is likely stronger than the old model.
On the existing platform basis, Mitsubishi cannot equip the new Pajero with dual-chamber air suspension, variable damping shock absorbers and other chassis hardware like GAC Trumpchi Yue 7, so its ground clearance is fixed at 230mm. Unlike Yue 7 which can adjust from 230-310mm, it is even slightly 5mm lower than the previous generation, but higher than Prado's 221mm. Combined with a wading depth of around 800mm, it is enough for the new Pajero to boast.

As for the 30.4° approach angle, 25.8° departure angle, and 22.6° ramp breakover angle, there is no progress compared to V97, the advantage over Prado is not significant, and it is even more impossible to compare with the lift-able Trumpchi Yue 7. Friends pursuing ultimate passability need to reach the goal through modification later.
02
Diesel Power Main Push, Plug-in Hybrid Still on the Way
The choice of powertrain limited the future of the new Pajero in the Chinese market. Currently, Mitsubishi will only continue to use the 4N16 diesel engine from Triton. The new Pajero is equipped with a twin-turbo 2.4L version, featuring variable geometry turbine technology. After the tail gas after-treatment system, it is the first Mitsubishi diesel engine to meet Euro 6d emission standards.
Moreover, the new Pajero can output 150kW peak power. The 480N·m torque is improved by 10N·m compared to the pickup version, performing better than the previous generation Pajero's 3.2T diesel engine, consistent with the LC250 Prado's 2.8T power, just 20N·m lower in torque.
Choosing the 2.4T diesel engine, the advantage of the new Pajero lies in wide applicability. Although looking at the book values, it is significantly lower than Yue 7 dual motors' 550kW, and acceleration performance has a significant gap, Mitsubishi off-road vehicles can achieve 3.5 tons of towing capacity, which is an ability Trumpchi cannot possess.
Moreover, from information revealed after the press conference, the new Pajero will have HEV and PHEV models later. Among them, Mitsubishi is likely to transplant the Outlander PHEV powertrain to the new Pajero. The combination of 2.4L gasoline engine and dual motors will be more suitable for Chinese owner needs, and can also face off against Tank 500 PHEV in overseas markets.

Regarding gearbox choice, the new Pajero did not continue to use the Triton's 6-speed transmission, but changed to Mitsubishi's latest developed 8-speed automatic transmission.
It may be optimized based on the Aisin AL80F set of Pajero Sport and Prado. Compared with the old 5AT transmission, using tighter gear ratios shows better performance in smoothness and efficiency, and also reinforces oil cooling, meeting the diesel engine's long-time high torque load, calmly coping with the new Pajero's 7 driving mode changes.
Moreover, the new Pajero transmission can also work with S-AWC all-wheel control system and SS4-II Super Select 4WD system, utilizing the newly added AYC active yaw control to help it achieve more stable driving performance. This function mainly uses front wheel braking to vector distribute torque between left and right wheels, correcting driving attitude and trajectory in curves and slippery roads.

Mitsubishi's signature SS4-II is also present. It has four modes: 2H, 4H, 4HLc, and 4LLc. It can realize the switching between two-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive on paved roads within 100km/h through planetary gear center differential lock, and can also perform torque-sensing center differential locking and low-speed four-wheel drive independent control, achieving better off-road performance.

03
Dimensions Not as Good as Chinese Off-Roaders, Design Catches up to Mainstream Aesthetics
From body-on-frame chassis, diesel power to Super Select 4WD system, Mitsubishi gives the new Pajero leading performance in class, and in terms of dimensions, it shows even more ambition to steal Prado's business.
The new Pajero's length, width, and height are 4920mm, 1925mm, and 1910mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2870mm. Compared to V97, it is slightly increased. Except for the wheelbase being 20mm more, each of Mitsubishi new car's three-dimension data is shorter than Prado's. For Japanese consumers who have long been troubled by Toyota's delivery waiting list, the smaller dimensions will instead be an advantage of the new Pajero. If compared with 5-meter level domestic manufacturing like Trumpchi Yue 7 and Tank 500, Mitsubishi's restraint is even more visible.
As for the design part, Mitsubishi improved significantly on the basis of Triton, while maintaining the high body stance of off-road vehicles, paying tribute to classics in details, making the new Pajero follow mainstream aesthetics without disappointing off-road players.

From body lines and surfaces, we can feel Mitsubishi's understanding of toughness. From the bulges on both sides of the hood, the creases of upper and lower waistlines, to the high head, flared fenders and side steps, the new Pajero has a tough look. The black cladding connecting the front and rear bumpers to the wheel arches is selected by Mitsubishi using slightly glossy plastic parts, improving the overall refined feel.
The new Pajero's front face is highly recognizable. It did not continue to use Triton's shape. The square head has a sense of power. The T-shaped DRL combined with the through light strip incorporates the six horizontal bars of the grille, echoing the shape of the rear light clusters, with rich details. The two-tone body reveals the fashionable vibe missing from Mitsubishi in the past.

Disappointing for old car fans, the new Pajero cancels the rear-mounted spare tire, changing to a plain upward-opening tailgate. To save face, Mitsubishi deliberately uses the upper and lower waistline to gather. Combined with the tailgate convex shape, it forms a hexagonal contour to pay tribute to its past self. As for the designer emphasized decoration at the C-pillar position originating from the roll cage of the first-generation Pajero convertible, it is even more of an inside joke element.

Also paying tribute to the first-generation Pajero is the new car's interior. Mitsubishi mainly wants to find the style of that year on the horizontally laid instrument panel. The camel leather trim decoration below the air conditioning vents similar to subway seats does have a retro meaning. Large amounts of soft package stitching use Japanese traditional wood grain craftsmanship. The A-pillar and passenger grab handle have off-road flavor, but the integrated large screen with two 14.3-inch screens pulls people back to 2026.

The center screen can digitally replicate Mitsubishi off-road vehicles' classic three-cluster gauge, and display off-road information such as altitude, heading, pitch angle, roll angle, etc., and can also switch dynamic effects according to driving modes. The new car's center screen also provides wireless smartphone connectivity, and can automatically switch 16 background themes over time, or display a 3D multi-view panoramic image system with透视 chassis.

Mitsubishi first equipped 8 airbags including front outboard airbags on the new Pajero. Coupled with forward collision mitigation and forward collision warning, as well as the first-equipped lane keep assist system capable of offset correction, its active safety capability is enhanced. As for smart assisted driving, the new Pajero's MI-PILOT only has adaptive cruise control with lane keep capability, with a significant gap compared to domestic models.
New Pajero users may not have high requirements for intelligence. Comfort features might be more appealing to them. Mitsubishi prepared acoustic glass for front and rear side windows for the new car, coupled with body noise reduction upgrades, and Yamaha 12-speaker + dual amplifier audio system with active noise cancellation. The new Pajero will have better suppression of engine noise and wind noise.

The new Pajero this time focuses on seven-seat layout. Through the second-row seat 150mm slide and fold, it optimizes the convenience of third-row passenger access. On the basis of improving the first two-row seat ergonomics experience, Mitsubishi equipped seats with heating and ventilation functions. The third row adjusted seating posture. Combined with toe room left after lifting the second-row seat, and three-zone air conditioning that can be independently adjusted, the new Pajero's third row can also satisfy adult sitting. According to current information, the Japan market only has seven-seat version, while the Australia version has five-seat and seven-seat options.

04
Driving Review Summary
Mitsubishi only announced the new Pajero pricing in Australia so far — the entry-level GLS five-seat and seven-seat versions are 68,490 AUD and 69,990 AUD respectively. The top-spec GSR is 84,990 AUD, approximately 330,000 to 410,000 RMB. Compared to the 54,990 AUD before V97 sales stopped, the new Pajero price increased significantly. Compared to the same-spec Triton, it is 8,000 AUD more expensive, but still lower than the Toyota LC250 Prado diesel GX starting price of 72,500 — this price locally should be able to buy the Tank 500 Vanta top-spec version, it just depends on whether consumers have an obsession with the Pajero name.
Domestic off-road players do not need to despair. Although Mitsubishi does not officially introduce the new Pajero, the parallel import channel still exists. At least I heard that some merchants still have stock V97. If the market demand scale is large enough and customer groups can accept a starting price above 400,000, in the future we still have the opportunity to see the new Pajero running on domestic roads — however, it can no longer return to the glory of 20 years ago, after all, the current domestic Prado monthly sales are just above four digits.

In Mitsubishi's plan, Pajero may become an independent series like Range Rover and Defender. In the future, there might also be mid-size Pajero with SUV style and small Pajero with two-door all-electric style. Hope that in the era of new energy ruling the market, domestic car enthusiasts still have the opportunity to play "niche" models, and find different fun in homogenized products.
