
Alongside the all-new, third-generation Mazda CX-5, Bermaz Motor, the official distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia also showcased the new Mazda CX-60 with the 3.3-litre engine.

Recall that when Bermaz Motor launched the Mazda CX-60 back in September 2025, the sole powertrain option was the naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre petrol engine.

Now, the local CX-60 line-up will be expanded to include the 3.3-litre turbocharged inline-six petrol engine, positioned as the flagship CX-60 variant.

Furthermore, this 3.3-litre six-pot is also paired to Mazda’s 48-volt M Hybrid Boost mild-hybrid (MHEV) system. There’s also a small 0.33 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that juices the electric motor.
Combined system output is 284 PS and 450 Nm – a healthy boost compared to the 2.5-litre’s 188 PS and 250 Nm.



In addition, the arrival of this top-spec CX-60 also means that SUV also gains all-wheel drive (AWD) capabilities, though it’s limited to thje 3.3-litre variant.
For the Malaysian market, the Mazda CX-60 3.3G M Hybrid retails for RM 252,872 (on-the-road, without insurance).
