Chery Group has announced its July 2026 sales results, with total global sales surpassing 20 million vehicles as the automaker continues its rapid expansion worldwide.

Chery Group achieved an impressive monthly sales volume of 276,820 units in July 2026. New Energy Vehicles contribute 129,067 units to the total — a 97.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase, setting a new record.
In export markets, Chery shipped 202,533 units in July (up 70.1% YoY), making it the first Chinese carmaker to exceed the 200,000-unit mark in a single month's exports.
For the first seven months of the year (January to July), the Group's cumulative sales reached 1,634,353 units (up 10.1% YoY). Cumulative exports accounted for 1,146,350 units (up 71.2% YoY), and cumulative NEV sales reached 604,305 units.

Following its strong July performance, Chery Group has reached another major milestone, with cumulative global sales surpassing 20 million vehicles.
The milestone was marked by the delivery of the 20 millionth Chery vehicle, a model from the new FULWIN series, which was handed over on 25 July.
From starting out as an independent Chinese automaker 29 years ago to joining the 20 million sales club, Chery has built its own path in taking Chinese automotive brands onto the global stage.
Today, Chery's footprint spans over 130 countries and regions worldwide, serving nearly 7 million overseas users. This means that one in every three Chery owners is from outside of China.
Even in mature markets with stringent standards like the UK and Europe, Chery has earned growing trust among local customers.

For the Malaysian market, where vehicle build quality and after-sales service are highly valued, Chery is doing more than just selling cars. Instead, it is focusing on rooting its operations deep within local communities.
From restarting its plant in South Africa to working closely with European partners, Chery is actively creating local jobs and pushing for a green ecosystem wherever it sets up shop.
In Malaysia, this includes a partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to fund local ecological projects like mangrove conservation.
As global sales cross the 20 million mark, Chery has evolved from a traditional carmaker into a tech-driven ecosystem enterprise.
Looking ahead, the brand aims to leverage its new energy products and localised presence to deliver smart, sustainable driving experiences for buyers in Malaysia and across the globe.
