Leapmotor B10 CKD gets RM 11,188 EZ5 Package in Malaysia

Stellantis Malaysia has launched a new EZ5 Package for the Leapmotor B10 following the start of local CKD assembly, offering benefits worth up to RM 11,188.

The package includes insurance support, a home wallbox charger, chargEV charging credits, window tint and other items, giving Malaysian EV buyers a lower upfront cost and more equipment at no extra charge.

The EZ5 Package includes:

• RM 4,000 insurance support, bringing the effective entry price from RM 118,800 to RM 114,800
• 22kW home wallbox charger with standard installation, worth RM 3,888
• RM 1,200 chargEV charging credits
• Premium Guard Elite window tint, worth RM 1,600
• Leapmotor physical key, worth RM 500

The package covers three of the main concerns for EV buyers — insurance costs, home charging and everyday convenience. All items are included free of charge, with no additional payment required.

The Leapmotor B10 officially began CKD assembly at the Gurun plant in Kedah on 7 September, with its price unchanged at RM 118,800, on-the-road excluding insurance for Peninsular Malaysia.

Stellantis has invested EUR 5.3 million in local production at the Gurun plant, covering production-line and infrastructure upgrades as well as the development of a local supply chain.

Following the move to CKD assembly, the B10 line-up has been streamlined to a single Design variant, with the previous entry-level Life variant discontinued.

The B10 Design uses a rear-mounted electric motor producing 218 PS and 240 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 8.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 170 km/h.

It is powered by a 67.1 kWh LFP battery with a claimed WLTP range of 434 km. DC fast charging peaks at 168 kW, taking around 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, while AC charging supports up to 11 kW, with a full charge taking around 5.6 hours.

Inside, the B10 Design gets a 14.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155 chip, with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An OTA update has also added one-pedal driving.

Standard equipment across the range includes a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated and heated front seats, a powered tailgate, a 12-speaker sound system and 64-colour ambient lighting.

The B10 Design is available in four exterior colours:

• Starry Night Blue
• Pearl White
• Tundra Grey
• Metallic Black

The interior is finished exclusively in dark grey.

For peace of mind, the Leapmotor B10 comes with an 8-year/160,000km battery warranty. The vehicle itself is covered by a 4-year/100,000km factory warranty, followed by a 2-year/50,000km extended warranty.

Meanwhile, Leapmotor delivered 103,129 vehicles globally in August, up 80.72% year on year. It was the fifth consecutive month in which the company set a new delivery record, keeping Leapmotor among the world's leading new-energy vehicle brands.
