Alongside the all-new Great Han flagship sedan, BYD has also brought the third-generation Tang, a major SUV in its Dynasty series, to the ongoing 2026 Chengdu Motor Show, where the SUV makes its global debut.
The new Tang retains the imposing presence the nameplate is known for, while bringing major upgrades to its battery technology and driver-assistance systems.

The third-generation Tang retains BYD's latest design language, with a full-width LED light bar and a broad, upright front end that gives the SUV a strong, commanding presence.
The side profile features a floating roof and semi-hidden door handles, with 20- and 21-inch wheels available.

The new Tang measures 5,045mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,760mm tall, with a 2,950mm wheelbase.
The God's Eye B driver-assistance system comes standard across the range.

The third-generation Tang is powered by an electric motor producing up to 300 kW.
It is also fitted with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery, available in 88.682 kWh and 105.792 kWh versions. The claimed CLTC electric range is up to 850 km, while the flash-charging technology helps cut charging times.
Another highlight is BYD's DiSus-A intelligent air suspension system, which combines dual-chamber air suspension with road-surface preview technology.
It can adjust the suspension to suit changing road conditions, helping the Tang stay comfortable and composed while retaining precise handling.
