2027 Zeekr 001 revealed in China with new color options and comfort features, launching in Q1 2027

Zeekr is preparing an updated version of the 001 for China, which is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027.

Details in China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filings point to a series of changes, including new exterior and interior colours and comfort features.

What's new on the 2027 Zeekr 001?

The 2027 model keeps the distinctive shooting brake design that has become a signature of the Zeekr 001. The latest changes focus on personalisation, performance and comfort.

New options include a matte rock grey exterior finish, inspired by natural landscapes, and a glacier grey interior. These additions give buyers more ways to personalise the cabin and exterior.

The car measures 4,977 mm (or 5,029 mm, depending on configuration) in length, 1,999 mm in width and 1,545 mm (or 1,533 mm) in height. Its wheelbase remains at 3,005 mm.

Under the skin, the updated 001 is built on a full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture and features an electric motor producing up to 370 kW (approximately 496 hp). It is paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.

Zeekr has indicated that the update will bring more extensive comfort and luxury equipment, a wider range of personalisation options and a broader choice of variants.

Zeekr's line-up in Malaysia

Zeekr has already established a local line-up covering SUVs and a premium MPV in Malaysia.

Current models and starting prices in Malaysia are:

• Zeekr 7X: from RM 182,800
• Zeekr 009: from RM 304,800

The updated Zeekr 001 is currently confirmed for China, with no Malaysian launch details announced.
