Aston Martin has added another ultra-exclusive V12 to its line-up.
The Valen is the most powerful front-engined V12 road car in the marque's 113-year history. Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, the new supercar is due to reach customers from the second quarter of 2027.

The Valen keeps Aston Martin's familiar front-engined layout, but its bodywork has been shaped with a much stronger focus on aerodynamics.
The front end gets slim, integrated headlights tucked beneath the sharp leading edge of the bonnet. Angular cooling openings, a geometric mesh grille and a steeply angled front splitter give the nose a more aggressive look.

There are also vents on top of the bonnet, and the side profile has been stretched and sharpened. Large functional vents behind the front wheel arches help draw air out from inside the arches.
Stepped side sills add more definition to the car's front and rear haunches. Along the rear section of the sills are serrated vortex generators, designed to reduce lift and increase downforce.

At the back, Aston Martin has done away with the conventional fixed rear windscreen and separate boot lid in favour of a single-piece tailgate. Aerodynamic fins are built into the upper section, with the tailgate opening up to reveal 170 litres of luggage space.
The rear also gets high-mounted twin exhaust outlets, giving the V12 a more prominent presence both visually and acoustically.

The Valen shown here is finished in Satin Andromeda Red, one of the colours available through Aston Martin's Q personalisation service.
The finish combines deep red with copper and gold highlights, shifting towards a darker blue tone under different lighting.
The body is made from handcrafted carbon fibre, and customers can specify a fully exposed carbon finish.
The weave runs longitudinally from the centre of the car towards the sides, and can be finished in either satin or gloss. Q can also create bespoke colour combinations for individual customers.

The Valen's cabin follows the same visual lightness as its exterior, with a slim dashboard angled towards the driver.
The control layout takes cues from the Valhalla, and the central touchscreen sits at a steeper angle within the clean, geometric dashboard design.

For the upholstery, buyers can choose semi-aniline leather with Alcantara or have the cabin finished entirely in semi-aniline leather.
There are several colour themes to choose from, including single-tone, two-tone, light two-tone, three-tone and Driver Focused combinations.
A new quilting pattern can be specified across the doors, seats and headlining.

Two seat options are available: Sports Plus seats aimed at long-distance comfort, or lightweight carbon-fibre performance seats for those looking for a more focused track set-up.

The Valen's headline figure comes from a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing 850PS and 1,000 Nm of torque. Peak torque is available from 2,500 rpm.
The engine is paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, while top speed is electronically limited to 344 km/h (214 mph). Drivers can choose between Sport, Sport+ and Track modes.

The Valen rides on new lightweight magnesium alloy wheels, with Pirelli P Zero R tyres developed for the car available as an option. P Zero Winter 2 tyres are also offered for colder conditions.
It also uses the latest Cyber™ tyre technology, developed with Bosch. The system links the tyres with the car's dynamic control systems to improve handling and stability.

With production limited to 150 cars, the Valen is likely to be as much a collector's car as it is a performance flagship.
Its combination of a front-engined V12, extensive aerodynamic work and Aston Martin's Q personalisation programme gives the limited-run supercar a character of its own.
