Bentley has unveiled three one-off Mulliner creations inspired by Nicolaus Copernicus, the Polish mathematician and astronomer best known for his heliocentric model of the solar system.
Revealed on 27 October, the three cars are based on the Continental GT S coupé and Continental GTC S convertible. Each has its own celestial theme – Sun, Earth or Moon – with bespoke paintwork, leather upholstery and decorative details bringing the concept to life.

The centrepiece of the collection is an illuminated design inspired by Copernicus's diagram of the solar system.
Featuring the Sun and eight planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune – the orbital motif appears throughout the cabins, including on the centre consoles, front and rear stitched panels, welcome lights and the convertible's tonneau cover.
While the three cars share this distinctive detail, each uses a different combination of colours and materials to reflect its chosen celestial body.
The Sun-themed car is the only convertible of the trio, based on the Continental GTC S.

Its Manuka Orange exterior is matched by an orange-dominated cabin, with Gravity Grey leather providing contrast.
Copper stone veneer across the dashboard and door trims adds a warm metallic finish, complemented by orange stitching and matching carpet edging. Together, the colours and materials give this version a distinctly warmer look than its two coupé counterparts.
The Earth-themed Continental GT S takes a different approach, with Nebula Blue paintwork and a two-tone blue interior.

Aegean Blue is the main cabin colour, paired with Imperial Blue across areas including the dashboard, seat bolsters and headrests.
Galaxy stone veneer, chrome detailing and silver seat piping add contrast, while the centre console is finished in matt Imperial Blue. The combination of different blue shades gives the cabin a look inspired by Earth as seen from space.
The third car is another Continental GT S coupé, this time finished in Moonstruck Silver.

Inside, Bentley has gone for a largely monochrome colour scheme. Beluga black leather forms the main upholstery, while Ice-coloured leather is used on the outer seat sections, headrests, centre console and door trims.
The contrast between the dark and light materials gives the Moon edition a more understated appearance than the orange Sun and blue Earth versions.
Beneath their different finishes, all three cars share Bentley's High Performance Hybrid powertrain.

The plug-in hybrid system combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with an electric motor, producing a combined 671 hp.
The specification also includes a titanium sports exhaust, active chassis control, 22-inch ten-spoke gloss-black machined alloy wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Bentley has carried the celestial theme beyond the cars themselves. Each comes with personalised treadplates, a bespoke fragrance and a specially designed key presentation box.
The collection also includes matching pocket squares and silk scarves, along with a dedicated Spotify playlist.

With just three individually commissioned cars, the Copernicus collection is another example of how far Bentley's Mulliner division can take personalisation, turning the Continental GT and GTC into cars with their own distinct identities.
